I would still be very carfull. I bought a banshee about 3 months ago that came out of a state that didn't require a title. I called the HWY Patrol and had them transfer me about 5 times and finaly got the numders (vin) ran. Came back clean, so I bought it. About 3 weeks later I have the cops pull me over and said that they have resson to believe that the ATV that I have on my trailor it stolen. I didn't think anything about it because I had the numbers ran, well about 12 cop cars showed up and told me that I had a stolen ATV on my hands. The basterds areted me and took me to the cop shop. The detective told me that he knows where I got the atv not to worry to just tell him the truth, so I told him that I bought it from this kid and his father. After about 2 or 3 hours they tell me that the 16 year old kid bought 3 ATVs with stolen checks, I bought this on from him not knowing any of this. The cops let me go, another week past and about 9 at night I get a knock at my door. Guess who?? Cops, I have a warrent out for my arest with a 10,000 dollor bond for 3 stolen atvs. I pay them there money I get out about an hour and a half later. The next day go and talk to an atterny, the atterny just so happens that he knows the Detective. He calls the cop (detective) talkes to him and finds out that the kid is 16 juvinial can't do much to him so makes a deal that if he testafies that I new about the atvs than he would be clean. Now Here I am a hard working guy trying to run my own company, raise my family, try to get some fun in my life by buying a Banshee and I get fucked. I spend 2000 on the bike, 40% bond $4000 and the atterny want $5000 to get everything dropped. I have spent 6 grand already and now I have to have my atterny 3 grand in the next 6 weeks or I can get 15 to 20 years in jail. 3 grand that I don't have!!!!!!!! SO BE CARFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thinking about make a web site to like that one chick with all the credit card bills asking for donations haha j/k

I do think that it will be a bad move for Yamaha. Why would you stop making the best and fastest atv out there. Yamaha's business will slow way down. I think that if this happens then the banshees resale value will jump up just like Hondas 250r. If any of you have stocks in Yamaha you better sell them before this happens!!!

I am haveing a really hard time finding the atv races on the speed channel. THis is the second week that I have missed it and its starting.......no it HAS pissed me off. I upgraded my Dish Network package so I can get speed channel to watch atv racing and I have wasted me money the past two weeks. Can you guys help me before I throw this f*cking dish in the trash.. I am totaly redoing my banshee this winter. Passion is doing my engine with his port job, +4 long rod stroker crank with weisco pistons. I have already repainted the frame all new a arm bushings, brakes, and an o-ring chain. It is blue right now and I don't really care for the blue color, I want to change the color. I have narrowed it down to two colors. One I am sure that you all have seen its the black ALBA banshee with white trible flames, or an all yellow one. I saw a yellow one one here (bansheehq) and I loved it. I am having a hard time chosing between the two, I know that it is all personal prefrence but I would still like to have everyones opinion and if possable some pictures. Thanks

As most of you know I am building my new engine. Vito's 404 big bore kit with +4 stroker crank, Lighted flywheel, ajustable plate, twin K&Ns, stock carbs and reeds but was thinking about V Force ( ?? ), stock head for now but will put a cool head on and FMF's. My question is, what jet kit should I get? I see you all talking about diff. size jets, do they make diff. size kits? I heard dyno was about the best but thats just hear say from one person. I have aslo heard both, that V Force reed work and that they didn't make a diff. Alba told the that even on there big 100 horse stroker moter they use stock reeds. Is that true also?? If they don't work why buy right??? I have already wasted my money on boost bottle and reed spacers. Thanks Rick

I feel like a dumb shit but when I got my shee I had the parking brake on and I started the shee up to show the guy next door to me and it sounded like shit, wouldn;t rev up wouldn't do anything. I spent hours changing plugs, regaping plugs, checking timing, coils ext....... So I made a phone call to Alba and they told me to undo my parking brake, hahaha ran great!!!!!!!!! Emagine that haha, how do you bypass that? I want to take that big cluster mess off my bars and put a nice crome one on it. Oh one more question. What are the TORs for? can I take them off? Should I take them off or just leave them alone? thanks Rick

I drove a buddies Banshee with a twist a few years ago but I can't remeber it that well to know if I like it better or not. I would thing that it would be accedent prone, I think it would be easy to accedently twist the trottle open and flip you back or run into something. Although I think you could ride alot longer. My thumb hurts like hell after a few hours of riding with the thumb trottle. Pros and cons on everything I guess all personal preferanse Rick

I am a newbie on this site, I understand were you guys are coming from. I have seen a few posts that kinda got under my skin a little, those kind of people messes it up for the other newbie (like myself) that is here to learn. I am not here to cause trouble or anything, I am here to meet new friends and learn. I just bought my banshee about a month ago and I love it. The wife thinks I love my bike more than her haha. Well as most of you know the wife to revenge on my shee and blew it up so I am trying to rebuild it. Never working on a small engine (ATV) before so I am new at all this. Alot of you have helped me quite a bit and I thank you very much. As for those newbies that f*ck it up for the rest of us, can someone delete there profile? So that they have to make a new one and maybe after a few times of getting deleted off they would get the clue. Or/and maybe put an age limit on here, most of the jake asses that write stupid stuff like BANSHEE SUCKS are more that likly kids. I understand that they can lie but its just a thought. AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!! Not to sound big headed or anything but the only thing that I have raced that has beat me was a ZX11 ninja haha. I raced a buddy with a craptor and it was a joke, I was able to stop and get off my shee and turn around to watch him drive by haha.. Banshees are the shit!!!!!! I love them

I am a newbie and i understand where you guys are coming from. I come here to learn, I am new at this banshee stuff this is my first one. It pisses me off seeing all the bull shit also. I think that 5 messages a day is more that enough. I know that you can lie about it but what about an age limit? I have only been on here for a very short time and I have learned alot ahole lot met new and good people and ass hole like these kids are going to mess it up for us good new fooks just trying to learn and make new friends. First of all I did do a search and they didn.t answer all my questions. The first post was before I new that there was a search. When I did a search it talked about the big bores and then it talked about the strokers but never how they performed together. I posted more questions thinking that maybe people didn't see them (it happens) THERES NO REASON TO BE A DICK TO ME ABOUT THIS.

I was exited when I found this site, I thought that I could get some real help. I have posted several messages and I basicly have no replies. No mater what I post I get no replies but I see other posts and there are 20 or 30 adds. Why ? Why don't people help other people on here? I know that there are smart people on here, With all the people that come on here I don't see why anyones post wouldn't get replied to.

My so call father inlaw has a 250 4 stroke dirt bike and sware up and down that he would beat me in a 1/4 mile and then a 1/2 mile race. The first couple laps down the street I killed him, then I gave him about a 2-300 foot head start and still killed him. I had the old lady get on with me and with the two of us on my shee we still killed him. After we got done he saidthat he wasn't trying haha. thats what they all say huh. he is a dumb shit I tell ya haha

What is the diff in performance from the shorter swimg arm and the longer one? Wouldn't it be harder to realy get on it and keep the front end down with a shorter swing arm? Its hard enough to keep my front end down now in 1-3 with the stock arm. I was thinking about getting a 4" longer swing. Would that be a bad idea? I am building a Vito's 404 big bore stroker moter for it right now. What should I do?

Do reed spacers work? or are they a wast of time and money?
