  1. just wondering where u guys buy yer premix at and what ratio do u run it at??Im runnin yamalube right now at 32:1 and i dont think i like it, seems like ti fouls too easy.I wanna try Castor cuz ive heard good things about it on the HQ. Im lookin for it in places like canadian tire and wal-mart but have no luck... do places like partsource have them or any other automotive stores??? also what premix do u guys prefer??? thanks Matt

U must have honing and boring confused, boring the cylinders makes the cylinder diameter larger, honing just gives the cylinder walls a surface that the piston rings can adapt to and decrease the chances of the rings not seating well. Honing is a pretty simple process . You can buy cylinder hones for fairly cheap. Honing is usually done whenever the cylinders are removed. Boring can only be done by a professional shop (unless your very talented and have the right equipment). Also , when honing, be sure to go up and down the cylinder to give it a criss-cross pattern... this aids in the correct seating of the piston rings Hope this helps Matt

  13. i was just wondering because im deciding to get a +4 stroked long rod and i need to know if i feel confident enough to split the cases and put this thing in myself. Just how big of a job is this?? how long did it take most of you guyson your first time splitting them? Just curious thanks Matt
  14. 21cc domes will do great, im at around 700ft and im runnin 21cc domes and they work great, All you gotta do is run high octane gas in your premix and your set.If you got any other questions about the head or domes, just PM dlnoss , and he'll set ya up right

  17. ok so what im lookin at here is a "Hot Rods Long Rod Crankshaft Assembly" . I will not need case work done, all i need is the 795 series pistons and portwork done. what cc's would this bring me up to? anybody know?? Matt
  18. hey guys, im lookin into a +5 longrod and whatnot and i was just wondering if i need to mod my cases for that to work, i know about the spacer plate going on the bottom and that i should get my jugs ported for the best outcome but can this be done in a stock case??   21. just wondering if you guys can let me know if im close -foam filter with lid (snorkel removed) -tr6 pipes -right now i have 280 mains -stock pilot -about 750 feet -looking to jet it for the summer (65-85 degrees) -the clip is on the 3rd or 4th position (whatever the toomey installation guide recommends) im thinkin i need about a 310 or 320 main, and a 30 pilot for easier starting any comments are welcome i will be installing my tors kit in about 3 weeks so im goin to rejet then when i am home while i have the carbs off anyways Matt
