    stroker crank, big bore ,cams, exhaust,porting and cdi. my brother spent about 1500 for parts and machine work and I did all the labor for him.

    Ive been there once, it was a lot of fun. I think when they say sand mountain they are talking about mountain of sand but its not the same sand mountain a lot of people talk about

    I checked the gap on my pick up, it was ok so I left it. I went to the dunes the next morning and it started ok, rode for 10 minutes and the left cylinder lost compression.

    I turned the stator clockwise. I will check the distance on the pick up tonight after work,and I'll take it to the dunes tomorrow.

    I did not take it apart. all i did was turn the timing plate.

    I advanced my timing last week and went camping. both mornings the shee was hard to start. I had to kick it alot more than normal both mornings. I have good compression and the motor runs good its just hard to start cold. is this normal?

    the numbers from the dealership are metric. .020 over is equal to .50 mm

    I belive there is a gear that goes between the clutch and the kick starter that is held in place with a washer and a snap ring

    the ground wire on my 94 is in the rear on one of the bolts that holds the voltage regulator to the frame

    for sale 2 used dune tracker front tires on gold anodized wheels. he wheels are aftermarket but i dont know the brand. there is damage to the out side of both wheels but they hold air. I got these with my shee 3 years ago and I have never used them.I can email pics $75 shipped. will consider trades and offers.

    I have one that holds a small cooler and a one gallon gas can. I dont like the look of it, but I like having enough gas to get back to camp.

    I dont know if you need to heat it but the crank is assembled with a press.

    If you stil have a park brake check to see if it is fully disengaged.next un plug tors box. black box under gas tank next to the coil.

    only one green wire comes off the switch. I just went to the garage to look at mine, the green wire from the switch goes to the right head light, from there it goes to the left head light. so yes you can wire both lights to one wire, green or yellow. the wires should be between the radiator and gas tank.

    should work ok but the stock stator will have a hard time lighting 2 55 watt bulbs. mine is dim at idle

    I think the low beam wire is green and the high beam wire is yellow. be careful because the power wire from the stator is also yellow
