  1. Reminded me of another one: An American is in Japan on business. Well his first night there he decides to enlist the company of a rather attractive call girl. They end up banging away like a couple of rabbits and at the climax of the performance she starts yelling out, "FUJIFOO! FUJIFOO!" The man takes this to mean that he did a good job. A few days later he's on the golf course playing a few holes with his Japanese business associates when he hits a hole-in-one. Excited and wanting to further impress his hosts he jumps up and down yelling "FUJIFOO, FUJIFOO!" The two Japanese business men look at one another and say, "no... that's the right hole."
  2. I agree. I'd start closer to 320 or 330 and then see where your are.
  3. I agree! I can honestly say that some of the best rides I've ever had are in the dunes at night. Whole different experience and once you get some good lighting its a blast.
  4. Try going up a size on the mains and see if that helps.
  5. FYI...the guys are making fun of you cuz 90hp aint easy (or cheap) to get on a banshee. Although maybe your bro knows how to do some kickass porting and thru in some other mods to get that 90hp, but its pretty unlikely - especially on a set of pipes that don't really deliver maximum hp. My suggestion is to take it to another dyno to verify the results. Before that you might wanna just look at that printout one more time and make sure you weren't looking at mph. If you are indeed running at 90hp, congrats! Your shee not only has the potential to beat that 700r, but about 95% of the shees on this site as well. I say potential cuz you'd better be running a pretty long swingarm to keep the front end down. I'd suggest a +4 as a minimum, but really you should be longer than that.
  6. Too many Rangers at Gorman. I'd have to knock some mods off just so that I could ride there. Usually if I'm gonna ride dirt its at texas cny, el mirage (also lots of rangers), stoddard, etc...
  7. what do you mean standing?
  8. What kinda riding is this for?
  9. Most people don't go more than .30 on the head cuz u run into squish issues with more. Are you boring it out to .40 over cuz it needs it or for more power? Don't do any boring for power. T-5's are a great pipe Timing advance is a good mod. reed spacers aren't really neccesary IMO
  10. You'll have to get it bored again for the 795 series pistons if you go longrod.
  11. Ah cool...Sounded like you'd been running on the same oil all year by your post.
  12. Click benbb's jetting faq in my signature
  13. Exactly. But a tad confusing don't ya think? Just remember: stroker=more power long rod=more reliability.
  14. No shit! You should be changing it every few rides at least!!! I use regular castrol GTX and I change it after every trip to the dunes.
  15. I'll do it for $400
  16. Here's another - 2 stock pegs welded together:
  17. I haven't looked at the heaters you specifically are talking about but my guess would be that they won't run on an AC electrical system which is what the shee has. To convert to DC you'll need to float the ground on your stator (easily done) and then install a new regulator/rectifier to replace the voltage regulator (about $30). After that its just a matter of installing a small battery and you're good to go. I would suggest getting the RS 200w stator tho since its way easier to float the ground on (or you can order it this way) and then you'd have no issues running your lights and heaters. As an added bonus, you could turn on the heaters before you even start the bike.
  18. I ran the foam 2:1 for about a year. K&N's don't really filter all that great IMO so I prefer a foamy if I can. It works good, not quite as good airflow as the k&n but a decent filter.
  19. Your jetting is lean because of the lower temperatures. Hopefully you didn't already melt a piston. Read Ben BB's jetting FAQ in my signature to find out how u fucked up and what to do to fix it.
  20. My neice just turned me onto this tonight: Foamy the Squirrel
  21. Did you sync the carbs? Have you tried switching the spark plug wires to see if it stays on the same side? Is fuel pouring out the overflow vent on the carb?
  22. What's your budget?
  23. Interesting... That cutting edge customs one doesn't look like a single piece. Looks like the handle portion is seperate.
  24. No worries man, you prolly won't get flamed. You included all the pertinent information. I would vote for T-5's. They're a quality pipe that works well for alot of different terrains and they respond better to porting than the T-6's.
  25. If your current frame is trashed you could just pick up some letter punches and stamp your current VIN onto a frame w/out a VIN. Not gonna work if you're plannin on selling your current frame though - unless you welded over the VIN #.
