  1. I had Cpi with a stock motor, and shit it was a waste of $660.( ran in the dunes) Then I got the motor ported and I can go up Olds in 5 th.
  2. Yo Iceman read my sig it just listed everything you just said. Also yeah iknow I need the tors off. I like to have performance parts the bling I'll get later. thanks.
  3. Yeah I saw an article like that one celebrating the 20 th aniversity of the banshee. The author said that the banshee was probally the greatest quadever produced. And that nothing like it would never be seen again. I thought that was good, considering that must articles critize the banshee. Like they say that the banshee is nothing compaired to the yfz 450. Please a fuckin piped, airfiltered banshee can beat a 450 of equal mods. Like anyone races a bone stock banshee.
  4. More of a Rainbow six Black guy myself. In fact I became the best guy in the world on RB6 BA on Xbox. Counterstrike seems old compaired to it, on Xbox any way.
  5. Yeah I was reading the story in Atv Action mag about how they raced the Raptor 700 against the Yamaha 450 and they perfered the Raptor to the 450. Then I read the new Dirt wheels mag where they raced the Yamaha 450 against the Honda and they picked the Honda above the Yamaha. Just thought that was interesting. I always thought that the yzf 450 was faster than the honda and the raptor.
  6. 93.4 mph. Pinned in 6 th gear over a mile run. Ran that at the right side of Roadrunner campground in Glamis, California. Almost ran into a bushy knoll, or tree or whatever you call it,barely stopped in time.
  7. Alright I scrapped what extra cash I have. I have $350.00. What the most effective mod(s) that I can buy with this much money. On my banshee I already have Dune port (kenz cycle tech) Cpi inframe drag pipes Milled head (.20) bored cylinders Wiseco pistons and rings K&N airfiler (in airbox) Stock carbs (tors on) Any help is useful. Thanks
  8. I have a trail tech, its good I love it. I bought mine at the dunes for 50 $$$. Not bad they adjusted it for me too. The only bad thing is that every one in a while when an airplane flies over it starts reading the airplanes speed. So now my odometer reads 8,000 miles and after the airplane leaves it reads 210 as top speed. In all worth the money and useful also water, heat, sand ,dirt and rock proog. Rolled my banshee 3-4 times with that on and still works. Although I have to tape it on now.
  9. Yeah in fact, I'm buying a 2006 banshee to store in the garage. I figured that after a while it will increase in value.
  10. I seriously doubt that they would ban the banshee from Glamis California. You go the hill and look aroung 1 out of 2 riders on a quad seems to be ridding a banshee. ( or two stroke of some kind.) Even if they do, there is no way they can enforce it, banshees can always out run them.
  11. lazy bastards, no mixing not worth the loss of speed
  12. I would like know who payed the 30,000 to make it look like that.
  13. Well no one I know is dumping their banshee any time soon. Some people dump it because they need more suspension (obese people) or a different powerband(trail riders/mx ect). 4 strokes are more reliable and don't need mixed gas, not to mention better gas miliage. As for the speed of the 4 strokes? Other than the 450 most 4 strokes have a hell of a time beating a stock banshee. Mine banshee smokes 450 s all day long, and I love the powerband. I would never switch to a 4 stroke.
  14. Well it all started yesterday, at glamis. I pulled over during the ride and stopped because my Umi handel bars broke in half. When we got them together I got on my banshee and pushed the throttle while trying to start it. The throttle wouldn't even move, then we checked the cables and nothing, finally we kept pushing until it just started moving again. So I tryed to start it and my banshee kept making noise like the throttle was wide open when its not. So aften 10 mins of kicking, we psuhed it down a hill and pop started it. From then on it starts normally, but doesn't feel like its running right, like one cylinder is only running at 1/2 power. Any ideas? Also I checked the plugs, nothing wrong with them.
  15. Well my cousin has that same problem, he needs a rings bad and pistons. Anyways same with him, we can kick that bitch for 20 mins and then it starts up and runs great.I agree you probally need to test your compression, but if you know you need rings, I'd start there.
  16. I would go with the t6 s too. My cousin has the dmc on his banshee. They're alright, there loud and have good mid and awesome low end. But I would recommend them, toomy pipes are just better than dmc. I beat my cousin all day long with a pair of 80 dollar old school fmf top-end pipes.
  17. My computer must be slow,I never got to see the picture before the huge ass. Didn't make much sense at first.
  18. Toomey and CPI aren't even on the same level. I'd recommend CPis, I got them they run great in the dunes, I bought Cpis over shear because I saw a dyno sheet that listed both and had Cpi as more horsepower than shear.
  19. I agree, try moding the motor alittle and see if thats good. In my opinion, (I've seen sst s and pro circuts race at the dunes), they seem about the same on a stock banshee. So I don't think you will be gaining anything with those. In my 15 years in the dunes I've seen one banshee with lrd pipes so i can't give you advice on those. I guess the best thing to do is keep the pipes, mod the motor, and when your ready for even more power change the pipes.(depending on the mods)
  20. Not sure but I think 35 watt might be a little much for your stator. Any ways my recommendation would be to try the different combinations of wire until you have what you want.
  21. Yeah most likely, you would be better off with checking out ebay. Might save you some money too.
  22. Wheres the lighting coil located ?
  23. Over Thanksgiving my headlights stoppped working for no reason at all. I though it was the lights themselves so I went out and bought a new set. When I hooked them up, nothing happened. I checked the wires for the headlights and the tail light with a test light and found that no power was coming through. Is this a common problem? I called Kenz cycle tech, a local shop, and they told me it was my CDI box and that they could sell me a new one for 418 dollars!! Which seems ridiculous. Other than the lights, my banshee runs great, starts up and rides perfect. Could this be the stator? Or is they a fuse that might have blown out? Any insight is helpful. Thanks
  24. I never argued I just nodded and listened. Maybe I should of .(jk)
  25. I didn't say anything to rangers other than the answers to their questions. I would of understod why I got so many tickets if I was riding dangerously or I insulted the Rangers. But the fact was WE WERE PARKED AND TRYING TO FIX THE FLAG. I guess they just wanted to prove something, whatever that is.
