Anyone who goes to Glamis can tell that the Rangers are dicks. Take this for example our buddy was saving us a spot at Roadrunner on Thanksgiving. He didn't have a truck to put in the spot to save it, so he used his sandcar. Its not like he was going to leave it there, it was just parked until we could get to the dunes. Anyways the Ranger pulls up and starts harassing him about parking there, he turns around and points at all the other "reserved" spots and asks why they aren't bothering them. They just smiled and said "They don't matter, we want you." After an arguement they asked him for the title to his sandcar, (everyone knows that sandcars don't have titles). They told him that he had 5 mins to prove owership before they towed it. So they towed it and it took him 500 dollars and 3 days to get it back. Me on the other hand I was at the drags on Thanksgiving last year, on the way over my cousin and I rode our banshees. When we got there I stopped him because his flag fell off.(the pole was still there) In not even 3 seconds 2 cars pulled up to us and started writing tickets. (My cousin got the same fines as me) They were: Flag wrong color- mine was black and red, skull and cross bones I never even heard of this. No california regestration ie no green sticker- I told him "I'm from AZ" "I can't be regestered in California." "Sorry" he said. No regestration or title on me- he asked where it was I told him it was in the safe at home Under 18 ridding a quad- Yeah bullshit a 5 year-old rode by on a 400 ex right when he said it! Then they assigned me a court date.It turned out alright though, when we called to get the date for court and pay the fine(never specified) they told us they had to throw out all the tickets because of the mass number they issued overwhelmed the courts in Brawley. Each year they hire more and more Retards that wern't even good enough to be secruity guards, I heard from a friend that last weekend they banned a guy for a year from glamis because his grey water was dripping becasue of a broken hose and called it illegal dumping! Bastards!!!!

Careful bidding on stuff for a banshee on ebay. Some guy could of done the work in his garage or something.

What would be a good price. I knew that didn't sound right.

Well with a opening to the stator it could get sand or water in the stator that can ultimately destroy it. I"d fix if I were you.

When I put on my inframe Cpis I noticed that they were off too where they connect the head pipe to the silencers. I let it go, and choose not to mess with it. The hangers however have broken at least 5 times on me while in the dunes. My suggestion would be to let it go before you get too angery and really mess it up.

yeah, anyways I called Kenz Cycle tech ( did my motor) and asked what he would do next. He recommended 33 keihin carbs, for $ 440. Is that a good price? And what kind of power would that produce? Thanks for the help.

Yeah I played with the gearing alittle bit when I replaced the chain I think its 13 front and 42 back.

What are the cubs? And how much does it cost?

My stock lights burned out, during thanksgiving at the dunes. I don't like look of the stock ligh, so I was wondering what are the cheapest after market lights for the banshee? I ride at night maybe once a year, so they don't have to be good just worrking. Thanks

I've had my bashee for a little over 3 years now and love it. Last year I had Kenz Cycle Tech do my motor and saw huge increases. I got a Dune port, milled head, Wiseco pistons and rings, and bored the cylinder.I run Cpi inframes and an K&N filter. My banshee is fast, (especially since I only weigh 150 pounds.) In fact I've never lost a race since I got the motor done.(Drags/olds Glamis)(I only dune ride.) Even with the speed, I want it faster, any suggestions where I should take it from here. I don't want any huge mods just a little bit more speed than I have now. I still have the tors on the Carbs if anyone knows how to get those off,or whether I just should get better carbs. Any help is useful thanks.

I'm going to glamis for thanksgiving, this year makes 15 years.

If you have the top-end gold series pipes, there have more top-end than the fatties and less bottom, the low-end gold series pipes have less top-end and more bottom.
-
I owned the oringinal fmf gold series pipes. Yeah they were called just gold series but there is two types of the old pipes the low-end (wood pipe I think they called it) and the top-end pipe.(mine) The only bend difference is that the woods has a sloping bend at the beginning and the top end has a more straight up look to it. You'll notice that the fattie has a bend at the top of the pipe where the other do not.

I'd save up a little more money and get a pair of nice ones on ebay. If your not happy with the fatties now there why get another pair?

SANDDRAGONMOTORSPORTS auction
Ultimateduner replied to Master of Faster's topic in Online Auction Watch
Sounds bad man, maybe he forgot he had the auction on there or he felt he wasn't getting enough money for it. I dunno seems like this is the same guy here have you tried pm-ing him? -

funny shit

Out of the ones you listed the T 5 pipes do good on top-end. But I ran some old school fmf top-end pipes hauled ass, until the side of the pipe cracked. Uh well it was like a ten year old pipe. Anyways depending on your mods I'd perfer either CPI s or Rockets. I never talked anyone with shears but heard their good too.

the Most expensive Stock carbs I ever seen
Ultimateduner replied to ellison445's topic in Online Auction Watch
Yep, the guy doesn't really tell you what sizes the carbs are. That really makes a difference when looking for a specific size. Shit I considering buying carbs but if the sellers isn't sure on the size then what does that say about the product. -
Should be no problem, I once saw a fat chick at the dunes at least 300 lbs on a banshee, and the suspension seemed alright.
-
Look it wasn't like a 1/8 mile run more like a 1/2 mile downhill no bumps, no turns, no people and I'm a light weight 150-152 lbs. This speed was done with race gas, and recorded by a gps. I know theres no way for me to do it in a 1/8 mile distance.
-
Well the seller shipped the swingarm yesterday. I'll take a look at it and see just how bad it is. If it looks decent I'll give it a try, if it looks like shit I'll give it a polishing, some minor repairs (if it needs any) and try to sell it at the offroad expo in a couple of weeks.
-
According to Monkey boy its a bracket kit that welds on to the stock swingarm.
-
Yeah I didn't know it was a bracket swingarm when I bought it. Since I already bought it a couple days ago, I'll try it out in the dunes and see how well it performs. If it doesn't work, or it breaks for some reason I'll definently get a +4 from quicksand.
