I saw in a magizine that the new K&N airfilter lid claims to increase power by 2-3 horse power. Anyone have it?? If so does it work, or increase airflow?

I can't decide whether to get FMF ssts or CPI high rev infame drag pipes, which are better for sand on a stock banshee. I want good top end for drag racing and power for hill racing. Please help!!!!

For about a year now I have been running some old-school fmf top end pipes. ( I ride in sand) They ran great, tons of top end and mid range. However, two weeks ago I cracked the back of the right header pipe, so I sealed that up and rode it this weekend. On saturday night I noticed that the right pipe cracked again this time so big it left a hole in it. So now I'm looking for a new pair of pipes for the dunes, (I've decided not to buy another pair of the same pipes) I'm thinking between CPI inframes, Pro Circuts or FMF SSTs. ( my banshee is stock ). I was wondering which pipe would be the better or close to the power I had. Any info is helpful.

I was just wondering what your top speed in sand is. Mine is about 85.9 mph in a drag race. Whats yours?

Last weekend at the dunes I noticed exhaust coming out of the head pipes when I started it up in the morning. So I bent down and felt around the side of the pipe, and found a gigantic crack. This sucks so bad, every since I bought my pipes ( old-school fmf top-end pipes) I have never seen another pair of them, or a pipe that can out perform them. So I have to have them tick-weilded, if that doesn't work I'm screwed. These pipes are great, I've never lost a race. I just thought I'd share that.

I go to Glamis 2 times a year with a couple friends of mine. Because I am the fastest one in camp I am always enjoy bragging about it. Recently my friends purchased a Ds 650 with a Big gun pipe, and an airfilter. My other friend has a stock banshee with fmf fattie pipes and Umi airfilter. They are both good drivers and lighter than me. A however, am a better driver, and have a banshee with a Kn airfilter and old school top-end fmf pipes.Who will win???!!! If it comes down to it, I'll sneak so racing gas into my shee. ( drag racing, sand)

Went up china wall last weekend, and stalled it on top of the hill.Luckly I jumped off and my shee rolled all the way down. Nothing broke on it except for the two front tires. ( deflated them)

I agree a 100%, if someone tried to steal my shee I'd kick their ass so bad they'd be the only one in heaven in a wheelchair.

Hey guys, I'm taking a trip up to Utah to pick up a trailor and I was wondering if there is any good dunes in Utah. I thought I might as well play around while I'm there Also I heard there was the Pink Coral dunes up there, are they any good?

At a dead stop I put mine in 2 nd, pop the clutch and power shift to the finish line.

You know if you want the silencers to be extremly loud, you could always take out all the packing in them. But... you would lose some power doing that

Sounds good to me. Ebay is a great place to buy stuff. I bought my pipes on there for $$80 !! Best thing I ever bought.
