  1. I need some help, got a freind that has a suzuki king quad, the promblem is that when he rides it for like an hour it will cut off and is very hard to get started a gain. Not sure what is going on with it any info would be great. Peace Scott
  2. You can get one from Wal-mart for not much that will be good enough to post pics of your stuff to sell.Just a thought
  3. Ok heres the thing,we got a local track owner that is thinking of tring to put on a big atv race.It will be basicaly ran like a national type race. You would have to qualify to be able to run in the main event. Here is the kicker it is an outlaw race which means it is not sanctioned by any organization it is just a race but,it has a total purse of 5,000 pay back.I talked to him tonight and he said that if it goes he only want 20 quads in the main in a class. So what I'm asking is any one interrested in a race like this? If you are you can post here or email the owner at edmurph@lexcominc.net and let him know.If this thing does happen this year it will become an anual event. Thanks for your time in reading this post and any input would be welcomed.Just about forgot it is a MX race and would take place in Albemarel,NC Peace
  4. Moe- Riddle me this riddle me that, what is the end and the beginning all at the same time.
  5. I to have rode a 250r trike and loved it .I now ride a shee and have had it in the woods and trails but prefer it on a track. If you have had no problems with a250r three wheeler then your good to go with a shee. The only thing I would do to it to make it more for the woods and trails is drop a tooth on the front sprocket .Just get one hang on to it and have fun. AS for tires the razors are a good choice of tires I have run them and hole shots and they both have their place. The razors will last longer than the hole shots they are a harder composite rubber, but I think if I was just going to trail ride I would go with trail claws. They hook up a little better in the woods for me than the others did and also in the mud and they arent that costly
  6. Is your adjusters in the carb tops all the way in if not you can take some of the slack out there. Also the cable should have some adjustment infront of the bend where it goes into the tops to.Just a thought hope it helps.
  7. To answer your question SyNtAxx no.The 450 should not out run you with your set up.I have basicaly the same set up and pulled the hole shot over a 450 last week at the track. The 450 was piped and jetted with an after market airbox on it.
  8. What Tats said the -2 is the way to go.Adjust it all the way in and it's -2 adjust it out and it's almost a -1.All you need to do is to have the right length chain to run what ever lenght arm you want it to be.The -2 does hook in the corners and makes it corner like mad.Get use to it and I think you'll like it alot.
  9. I got the heims. They are ok,they require more mantianance than a ball joint.I myself have had one lower heim come apart on me on the track but the nut backed off the lower side.As for taking care of them you need to spray some wd40 or something like it on them after a wash to keep them from squeeking .The ball joint is sealed for the most part you just need to grease them if they have a fitting.I have seen lsr ball joint brake on the track but they were on raptors and a blaster. The shaft broke at the arm.It really just matters what you want and trust.
  10. Yea I got one about that size in my backyard top of 4th will do it but 5th wo will do it better
  11. JB weld it will hold it in place if you can get it there.just put a very little bit on it you wouldn't want this stuff squirting out around it sets up just like steel.
  12. Mighty vac.Tried to bleed my fronts with everything, after I got very tired of not making any head way I went and got one.it came from Auto Zone only cost 25.00 and made it very easy to do just hook it up pull a vacume and make sure your res. don't get empty and your set.The instructions that came with it was very helpful. Also you may need to put some white plumers tape on your bleeders so they want leak air around them while your bleeding your brakes.also has a container on it to catch the fluid so you can keep using what comes out.
  13. Or an air leak, what intake you running. If it is one of the ones with the boost bottle that has rubber gromlets then one of them might be leaking some air.
  14. Me thinks it make the shee look like the new Blasters, and why would a person want to that.
  15. yea it probably is lower than stock.I resprung my stock shock with a Ecibac spring rated for my weight and it sets lower but doesn't bottom out until you hit something big.
  16. I have a complete xr80 that I'm going to part out.It has good fenders and tank. The front forks are also in good shape as is the rest of the body parts and frame. The motor is complete except for timing chain.Went to fix the motor and seen that it had gotten moisture in it so I'm parting it out.The clutch is complete and it looks good as does the side cases.Just let me know what you need and I'll sell it no reasonable offer refused We're Dealing.Contact me by PM or email thanks
  17. Most around here run the 8in rear wheels beadlocks or race.I have a set of each the race wheels are lighter than the locks but are as strong as for the front same locks or race 10x5 or 10x6 .The locks I have are Douglas and the race are itp I like them both. :dance:It really depends on what size tire you gona run 18's or 20's.With the 18's I would run a 8in wheel and with the 20's a 9in.

  21. I'm running PC pipes and the timing is +3,And it is offical I LIKE IT. Went to the local sat track and was doing some laps just enjoying it and a new 450f showed up.We got to playing and I could pull the 450 on the straights.Found out that it was a guy I had ran last year his daddy just went and got this for him to run this year it was piped and jetted with the air box lid removed and all the good stuff on it for a sweet ride so it wont stock either. If you want to PM Jim at Passion racing you can do it with PassionRE.
  22. Well I got it jetted.Jim's sizes on the main and pilot jets were right on,it just took some adjusting to dial it in.This thing is a beast.1st gear revs out quick still 2nd is a little taller but when you get to 3rd it just goes and goes 4th is the same as 3rd and as for 5th and 6thwell I don't think on the tracks I race right now I'll even see them.every time you shift a gear it just pulls like muther. With what I have rode it about 12hr I have found that the power band has become more controlable for me,it's not so radical.Almost like you start in it and it never comes out of it .Also it is alot more respondsive to the throttle.I have a little flat track in the back and riding it I also think it would be a not so bad motor for tt racing.I was playing with it yesterday and it would come out of the turns : with the front wheels off the gorund just digging.Need less to say I have found The one I want to do my motor work
