No big deal, I do need those tie rods still. I have had a few people ask about my banshee but I dont think anybody has been that serious. I have not really advertised it either, any idea's on how to get the word out on it?

dave I plan on racing some of those races when I get a yfz.

I was thinking the same thing, the guy rides in the mud and water alot so I thought the stator would look bad when I opened the side-case but it was real clean.

The battery has plenty of power, I put a new plug in the cap, I got my multi meter and I have nothing coming from the coil or going to to the coil. The book said to ohm out the wires on the stator and now I'm not getting anything from 2 of them. Has anybody ever changed the stator on these bikes.

A friend brought me his 98 Polaris magnum and it has no spark. I tried doing what the manual said and everything seems to check ok. If anybody has any words of advise on this please help.

I have always used gear saver in my race bike with a stock Yamaha clutch ( yz 490 springs) and have only smoked one clutch, the reason I smoked the clutch was because the dumbass starting the race waited about 15 seconds to turn on the green light. I'm not sure that any tranny fluid would have held up to that, I had the bike in gear and the throttle wide open. If anybody has anything that will hold up to that let me know.

I like to use the 38 on the rear so I can sipe them. When do you think the deal might happen?

Hey John check the bullet speedway (Mark Krokty) he has some races and the there is place in Shrevport (sp) and you can also check with the Waco eagle club they have a bad ass 1/2 mile and a 1/4 mile and a cool tt track. You can always drive back to Oklahoma we will let you come back to race ( until you start beating us)

You should be happy that I'm sellin it so I wont hand you and Jinx your ass at paducah. I will run the tt track there for sure and maybe the shorttrack also. I know that I wouldnt have a chance with a yfz on a big oval.

I would also consider a trade for a YFZ.

My banshee is a 2000, I have everything that noss machine makes on the bike as far as motor I have a passion stroker-longrod with the 12 port and 35mm pwk carbs with dial-a-jets, dyna ignition,lightend fly wheel, v-force reeds. The frame is powder coated black with red maire plastic, -3.5 lone star roundhouse swing-arm,+3 +1 lone star a-arms , amp-link. I had the bike on a dyno at the begining of last summer (04) and it pulled 70 hp and 40 ft. lbs. of torque with a bad clutch ( I have already changed it). The bike is set-up for flattracking with afco shocks all the way around it. I'm asking $6000 for the bike.

That is very good point about Auburn, they are a real good team, I think they are alot better than usc. I'm not trying to make excusses for ou they sucked against usc, but look at usc they had alot of close games this year, yea they beat cal but then cal lost to texas and ou beat texas and all the ranked teams ou played where away games so you have to factor that in. As for the heisman finalists being " media darlings" take alook at the numbers for year, yeah Jason White did choke in the big game (he did it last year also)

Yes Jason White is a big choke artist, I mean look at his numbers for the rest of the season, he looked like some dipshit out there against usc. As far as ou being over rated take a look at who they played this year and beat, they have the toughest schedule in the bcs , and they toughest confrence, look at how many top 25 teams they beat and had 2 heisman trophy finalist. So if you say they are over-rated you had better better step back and look again. Oh yea they did suck last night and who is St. Johns?????

Yes OU did play a shitty game last night but all you assholes talking shit know that OU is a better team than they were lastnight, if you take away the 5 turn overs you have a 19 to 20 score. I'm not trying to say USC is not a good team because they are a real good team and OU played like shit. And foe O-State they will always suck
