Congrats on coming back alive. I have a co-worker, and a best friend in Iraq right now, the co-worker is in Falujah however you spell that name. He was in the first marine division that went in to take over the city about a month or 2 ago. The other is a best friend since forever, few years younger than me, last I talked to him he was in Bagdad, watched two of his buddies get hit with a single mortor shot and killed around Christmas not 50yds from him, he was pretty shaken up. Than there is a high school friend, I worked out in Conditioning and training with him everyday first period for about a year and a half, rarely saw him outside of school, talked about the previous days events and women of course, while we were working out. Needless to say I have his name Tattood on my chest, he took a sniper bullet to the head. he was on one of the presidential tanks when we made the run for Baghdad. Dont let what them muthafuckas say on TV most of us a lot more than you hear about, are forever behind you guys and in debt to you.

They probably dont know what they are doing. Jim from Passion was gonna sleeve mine with the same sleeves, only mine were from LA Sleeve. But I have a kid on the way so I'm trying to save as much as possible.

How Much Of A Difference Between Sst, T5, & T6
Fireman-hott replied to nickxc's topic in General Banshee Discussion
From what i've heard, the T-6's dont take well to mods. Get the T-5s if your gonna do any sort of moding. Never had the sst's. The toomeys are mid-top end, nice mid hit I might add. I dont know what the sst's are. -
MrMatt, Did ya happen to run into anyone or see anyone riding the shee in my avatar? My buddy borrowed it that weekend and went down there, he was floating around with another banshee and a white z400.

Fireman-hott replied to stealthawd's topic in General Banshee Discussion

I"m just waiting for the day I can catch the guys at the local dealership out on thier banshees. They do nothing but rag me about how much of a piece of shit the single carb is and how I should goto duals. Just one time I wanna see them and see what they say.

I have a 35mm keihin pwk, somehow, dont have a clue how, I lost the float needle that stops gas from coming in once the bowl is filled. Anyone know of a place to find one, or a possible part number?
-
Anyone run one of those lockup clutches? I thought about getting ne while replacing the one I have now. Probably should have, but the fiancees blaster is in shambles and needed a makeover. Pros,Cons of it?
-
I've been wanting some clear hoses. Whats the inner diameter on the hoses, and which kind do I need to withstand the heat? Gotta replace my blown clutch so I might as well do that while I have the clutch apart.

How old is the gas? Your sure the cdi isn't bad? Maybe its misfiring which would cause the backfires. try changing the spark plug?
-
there is Counter-Strike for the original half-life thats a free download. THen there is the new COndition Zero which is a crock of shit. Either get Call of Duty or Battlefield Vietnam or UT2k4. The vietnam one sold mrore copies that ut2k4 on cd and dvd COMBINED. which were in the number 2 and 3 spots for total sales.

Dynoport 2into1 And Trinity 2into1 Help!
Fireman-hott replied to OC-SHEE's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
if its a keihin, I'm running a 180main. my pilot is too big at 50 though. my air screw is about 2 turns out give/take a half turn. Mine still bogs on the low end, but also loads up when it idles for awhile, hence the too big pilot. -
Sorry to bug you guys but I usually deal with my keihin carb, but and I dont know how, I lost the float needle so yeah it just spills gas everywhere. Righ tnow i have a 33mm bored to 35mm mikuni. I dont really have a clue on the Mikunis. I'm running Wiesco pro-lites. Stock Bore. Trinity 2-1. vforce delta 2's. T5's. No Airbox. Noss 20cc. I"m at between about 300-500 sea level. and riding in 50-70* weather. Any help would be appreciated. Pilot jet is fine instant throttle response and no loading while idling. need an idea on the main it fouled my plug on one die considering its got like a 450ish main in there. And I was holding her open a lot.

a yfz450 pushing 12k rpms? I thought they reved out at 9k

Sure you didn't put the pistons in backwards? You know that arrow points toward the exhaust.
-
Just putting in reeds is not gonna make your motor blow, something else was wrong. I put the in with 20+ hours on my motor and haven't had a problem yet. I've been runnning them for months without a problem. Learn to jet maybe?

Hey guys, since no one at blasterhq will even reply to the post I've come to a more knowing source. On ym girls Blaster, when it gets started it will starting dinging, almost like something is in the topend or bottom end I can't really pinpoint it. The piston looks to be in good shape, but I found there to be a leak in the clutch seal and when I drained the bottom end, I'd say maybe half a quart came out if that. Also the sounds just happened suddenly when we were on the trails, it rode home fine, still pulled and got her home. Any clues, I haven't had the time to pull the bottom end off and crack it, I really dont want to unless its absolutely necessary.

Fox, I'm gonna give you a hint on the throttle cable...Its just your everyday Blaster cable. 1 Carb
-
Turn the idle screw up enough on your carbs. I was buzzing around without my thumb on the throttle when I put a smaler carb on, the guy left the idle screw in about 3-4 turns too many.

I Need Help From Anyone Who Has Toomey T-5's
Fireman-hott replied to BaNsHEE ELiMiNaToR's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Not every shee is built the same, hence the problem. Toomey I thought fixed most of the problem when they went to a 3-part welding system with the pipes. My right pipe is a pain to get around the frame but once its around its all good, I had to shave some of the bolt hole for my mounting bracket though. -
Anyone Else Have This Problem?
Fireman-hott replied to got1banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
When I was still livin at my parents earlie rin teh year, same shit, these old people would call and complain about the noise EVERYTIME I started it up, yet the same people were mowing thier lawns at 6-7am while I"m trying to sleep after a midnight shift. FUckin Bastards. -
dropping it 2" Oh man did the banshee gods shine down on me. Not so much as a friggin scratch on the cylinders. getting some wiesco pro-lites should be here friday. I'm gonna try to get the swingarm off and cut before then. Can't wait till Memorial Day, gonna do some muddin, mxin, trailin. boy it they shine down on me, and to be honest is slide out really smooth just as smooth as the other side.

Congrats on not only the new boy but her not being as crazy now that the boy is born. I have 6 more months of the pregnant fiancee's whining, complaining, being anal about stuff. I'm an EMT I am hoping they will allow me to deliver my own child at the hospital. Considering I am qualified to do it in the field and all I hope mines a boy, so many people have clothes and other things if it is.
-
Is removing the swingarm a very time consuming operation? Or is it a straight forward 30min-1hour job? Got a neighbor thats gonna cut and weld it for me. Also is it made from aluminum or from steel?
