  1. ive gotten stoped by the dnr up in baldwin michigan and never had any problems with inspection or anything, i just have a taillight on my 95.
  2. i was also wondering if most of the difference you guys were noticing was from the braided line, but for how well these calipers work and the price i dont think you could beat them if your in the market.
  3. yup theve proven themselfs time and time again, and the screwless design works flawless.
  4. Jeff, i dont have access to my clymers right now(im up at school, and its at home), but is there a spec for slop between the basket and the gear? Im not sure if the cusions are worn to badly im not, the girls basket is grooved pretty badly so im sure she needs one but mines not grooved at all. Might be pickin up a couple baskets from ya, i know she needs a inner clutch hub also. Thanks Cody
  5. Umm dont chrome the stator cover, its plastic lol
  6. im willin to bet that you need that 27.5 pilot, just like everyone else said!
  7. what did you do exaclty as far as port matachin on the bottom end lol? Looks like you ruffed it up a little but i dont think there is any ports to match.
  8. hmm thats funny, not saying jims word is god, but jim at passion told me that the welds on the hot rods crank were fine and didnt need anythign extra, and they look stout. Also he said bearings were fine for me on my build and that i didnt need the maxload or the tz. I guess time will tell and i hope i dont find out the hard way lol. Cody
  9. ya agreed they def need to dye it, the last stuff i got seemed to be greenish though if i remember, so maybe they got the hint!
  10. lol for a minute there i thought i was goin to have to call ya jeff
  11. well thats damn good, considering there automotive and diesel oil is outrageous, i just figured the 2 stroke oil would be the same way.
  12. ive got a tusk billet, and a 15 tooth up front and the chain is so damn close to it if it ever broke i dont think it could wedge in there or slap the case, but i dont know for sure since ive never had to use it for what its for thank god. Cody
  13. i guess i dont know what your saying, if you wiggle up and down on the flywheel its nice and tight, side to side is nice and tight, but if you turn it there is slop? Correct? Cody
  14. might try and burn it out with a torch, just dont get one spot to hot, would hate to see ya melt a hole in your pipes, works really good on compressor housing and exhaust housings on turbos, so i dont see why it wouldnt work in a pipe, if you can get access to a media blaster after you get it hot it will come right off.
  15. sounds like it may be your woodruff key and or keyway, your trying to turn it over and there is slop between the flywheel and crankshaft right?
  16. the bearings on the hot rods crank will be fine, no need for a maxload or tz, and the welds that come on the hot rods crank will also be fine. Unless you got some extra money and want some extra piece of mind Cody
  17. no brackets, just pods that are at least 5" long and get outerwears to! Keep your airbox if ya can. Dont waste your money on a aluminum.
  18. thats not bad at all for a quart.
  19. yeah that sounds fine, btw how much you pay for that stuff, never been a fan of amsoil becasue everything they sell seems to be so damn expensive!
  20. exactly what i was thinkin, i guess if he changed the design enough then there might not be a problem.
