I had an 05 Midnight Blue Metallic and a 06 Torrid Red both with mods, A4s.. Awsome cars that are very comfortable.. Back seat is nice too once you get back there. I traded in the 06 on a G8 GT (the Holden Commadore I think) and it was very nice as well... Went from 13.7 quarter mile to 13.2 with just an intake, tune and mufflers. I have had multiple F Bodys and the GTO fixes everything that sucks on the Camaros and TAs.. Mainly interior and suspension. I traded in the G8 on a new F-150... and am in the market for another fast car... I am thinkin an older Notchback Stang with a LS motor in it tuned to carve corners and run 11's.

100LL is the stuff to run... Mixing it 4 to 1 with some pump helps get a complete burn. Been running it forever. For you Phx guys... I get mine at Falcon Field in Mesa. They have a self serve pump on the tarmac where you just swipe your card and pump. It is $4.41 gallon right now (I picked up on Thursday) for 100LL Blue. You can drive your rig thru the gate and pull up to the pump... Just be cool, watch for aircraft and drive slow! They have been really cool about letting me in and out that place for years.

Im running the EBC Street racer Kevlar kit and its been awsome for over 2 years of hard duning.. Really smooth engagement

Ya stock carbs rock.. My buddy puts down 71hp with stock modified carbs all day.. on a 350 I'm pretty sure the Keihn jets work in those.. the needles too They are Keihn copys .. Not all Asians are created equal Make sure it says JAPAN on the carb for maximum performance

22" Haulers, Stock Swingarm, Propegs?
theeechozen1 replied to theeechozen1's topic in General Banshee Discussion
thanks man good info... I have honestly never ran my bike with straight blades on it.. but have rode bikes with 20" haulers and you could get those sideways with some effort. I might just take both in case Im not having any fun on em... Worse comes to worse my LT80 has haulers on it too LOL Any more confirmation on the tires clearing the Nerf Bars? These are the Pro peg with Heel Guards now too... Eman, yours have the heelguards right? Its pretty effin close and I know these things balloon. Correction on the paddle info above, I was silly ass drunk when I posted this 22x11x8 8 Paddle Superbuffs Should I leave my gearing tall to tame it down a little? -
Dude youve flipped your bike 9 times? Thats pretty god damned impressive!
-
Ya over half the reviews are about them breaking.. All I ride is sand.. For 50 bucks Im game
-
Does all that constant fist pumping help with arm pump on the long rides?
-
No Chit man? I have the Moose big lever and its ok.. But my buddies ASV set up is way easier to pull in than mine.. I was getting ready to order one of those...

race fuel is it needed? please help
theeechozen1 replied to lms1977's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I run the 100LL mixed 4 1/2 gallons to 1/2 gallon of 91 Pump... It should work fine for your set up. By mixing in a little 91 it helps to get complete burn and helps your gas milage. If you run straight 100LL your bike will spit ALOT of unused fuel until it warms up. It puts the octane in the mid-upper 90s -
22" Haulers, Stock Swingarm, Propegs?
theeechozen1 replied to theeechozen1's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Ok koo... I want to give them a try and see whats what, I have some 22" Dune Runners for the front so at least it will be level. I've been running 20x11x8 Sand Stars for over 5 seasons and like them. My bike handles great with that set up and has no problem sending the nose skyward. My bike has all the normal chit on it, Big Radiator, Ported, VF3, 19cc domes, 33PWKs, T-5s, alot of timing running 100 octane. It prolly makes 65 horse or so (runs right with my buddies bike that dynos 66-67) This could be intresting Is it alot harder to get the bike pitched into a slide with these meats on there? -
I recently aquired a set of 22x12x8 Skat Trak tripple buff 9 Paddles from a friend for cheap... I have a stock swinger with AC Propegs... Has anybody run this type set up before? I dont want to tear up the paddles if the tires balloon on a landing and hit the nerf bars. I am planning on a longer swingarm, but really want to try these things out at the dunes next week. It looks like I have about 2" of clearance when its sitting on the ground.

Vegas is good for Dunes... 90 miles to Amargosa, 125 to Dumont, and about 4 1/2 hours to Glamis

I just picked up a set of 22x11x8 Tripple buff 8 paddle haulers from a friend real cheap. I also got some 22" fronts to go with em. I currently am running 15/42 gearing with 20x10x9 sand stars and I like my current gear. How far should I go down with these tires? I was thinking that just going to a 14/42 might not be enough. I weigh 270 geared up. My bike is ported with T-5s, PWKs, VF3s set up for 100 octane.... they are really really light.. not sure how much that plays into gearing tho
-
On a stockish play bike I wouldn't go lower than an 18cc dome or equal... I run 19cc domes with a +5 1/2 advance on the 100LL without issues. Im pretty sure I could get away with 18's on the 100. There is no need for 110 on a play bike... Im sure a performance shop could cut your head for 110 if you really wanted. But your bike will start to lose some over rev with that much compression. It will rip out of the hole tho.... I recommend setting it up on 100LL anything more than 40 off the stock head (about a 21cc dome I think?) and you will have to have the head rechambered to clear the pistons
-
Indeed... I did 19cc domes and advanced the timing 5 1/5 degrees at the same time.. Holy new bike feeling!! My bike is a mid range monster with T-5s
-
Ya man the Vforce kinda kills it... I have a 2-1 with a 38 PWK collecting dust somewhere and some stock intakes with carbon reeds if your really intrested, I could dig em out and take some pics. duals are not that hard to tune tho...
-
Still got that pingel??
-
you can def make that trail... no problemo We did it in a lifted stockish ezgo Now if I owned your bike.. I dont think I would take it into the rocks tho I will tag along on my LT80 if it will make you feel better.
-
Stock pipes are what your after!! Paul Turners, Dynoport 2-1 if you can find one... But don't take my word for it, I think T-5s are a low end pipe lol
