Turn gas on, let it set for a few to let the gas run through everything, do 4-5 SLOW "priming" kicks, the pull the choke out 1/2 way and give it hell. Should start w/ in 2-3 kicks. Mike

It's either detonation or your lean, the only rev-limiter on the 'shee is the pipes. Mike

I was looking at cannondales the other day and there was FIVE!! scams on one page!!!! To tell you the truth though...I'm kinda tired of seeing post about scams....There's so many of them(scams) it just clutters up the forum(JMO). I posted about a scam here a while back b/c somebody was selling meat's bike (and it sure as hell wasn't him). I'm pretty sure we all know the familiar signs of an ebay scam(pre-approved bidders only, free shipping, EXTREMELY low price, etc..). Maybe it's just me but I don't think they need to be posted about anymore, this isn't directed towards anybody in particular. I just didn't want to have to start a new topic about it. Mike

You can't tighten them tight enough to hurt anything...I promise. I weigh 210 and jumping on the wrench to tighten them....they still come loose in 3 rides if you don't use loctite. Mike

www.toomey.com..... The best place to get them from is www.rockymountainatv.com I would go w/ the t5's if your gonna get it ported later down the road(porting isn't detecable, even by the naked eye ). The t6's just for all-around riding. Mike

I run elka sports/racing on the front of my 'shee....let's just say I had a chub going the first time I went around the track w/ them. But just for woods riding w/ occasional jumps I would go with works triple ratesw/ remote or piggyback ressy's. Mike

I'm pretty sure you could get the "kit" that comes w/ air-filter, jets and pipes....You need to get an air filter adapter that allows a "bolt on" filter, your stock one will back off and let dirt in your engine!! BTW: The t6's are better for all around riding while as the cpi's kick and kick even harder after porting. Mike

Every model of toomey pipes are available in the black "unpainted" option. Your silencers will be chrome though . The toomeys would be great for street riding at high rpm's....you could prolly use the stock silencers just gut them. Mike

I run the carbon fiber reeds in mine.......heard good things about the TDR's though. Mike

Might just put some premix earl in the cylinders and clean the carbs. Then you should be good to go. Mike
