  1. What size and/or front tires would you go with?
  2. I am in need of some new rubber. I have stock rims. I will be riding in the woods, gravel, mud, and grass. What size tires would you buy? thanks
  3. Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like everyone has there one opinions and favorites. Anyone else feel free to add your .02 thanks
  4. I am in the same boat as you asswhore. I have tors removed, and when it is damp out my banshee does the same thing. Wish I could tell you the cure. I would like to know myself.
  5. I am in need of some new rubber. I have stock rims. I mainly ride around on grass hills and ditches, but also gravel and dirt. I ride in the timber a little too. What size tires would you use for the front and rears? What brand would you reccomend. I want a good tire for the the money. thanks
  6. I have paul turner mids and pro flow air filter w/o lid. When I am running it on the road and riding it normally, it runs at 200 or less. I was following some 4x4's thru the timber the other day and I was puttin around in 1st gear, and it heated up. Is it the nature of these banshees to do this or can this be fixed with jetting. Any help would be awesome. thanks
  7. thanks much holyman, i now will be able to do away with the bungie cord.
  8. I was recently running 270's before i really started messing with the jetting. When I pulled the choke out it didn't have any effect (choke does work at idle and kills the motor). I now have 300's in and the choke doesn't really have much effect. I have a temp guage on and it doesn't really run overlly hot. I went from 270's to 280's to 290's to 300's. I didn't chop the plugs, but i did run it at wot and looked down at the base of the porclein. I didn't see much color. I don't have any bigger jets ... I guess i better get some bigger ones. whats your thoughts?
  9. what if it doesn't do anything? Does this mean I need bigger mains?
  10. Assuming a properly jetting banshee, does the choke have much effect at wide open throttle in the last gear?
  11. I needed to change clip positions and I forgot how it goes back together. the aluminum peice that holds 2 screws and the throttle cable can go in two different ways. One is where u cover a hole in the slide and the other way is where u don't cover the hole. Please help
  12. Does the pt mids have more low end power than stock? Where are the power gains compared to stock pipes? Would i be able to wheelie better with stock or pt mids? thanks
  13. I am in need of some new carbs. I am debating whether or not to buy a nice set of used stock ones of ebay or buy an aftermarket set. It looks like I can get a set of 28 mm flatsides for $200 on ebay. Can I use the stock style of main jets on these flatsides? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these carbs? My bike has pt mids, other than that it is stock. What would u suggest thanks
  14. I am trying to get the jetting right on my banshee with my new pipes. When i pull the choke out, it doesn't do anything. I was wondering if this might be because i have too big of a main jet in. I have paul turner mids, pro design foam filter, no lid. I started with 300 mains and it smoke something fierce and it didn't run right. I am now down to 270's and it still smokes a little, but i don't have any low end power. I started with the clip in 4th position then moved to the 3rd and i really didn't notice much. I am in IL and it is cold out 30-40's. Do you think i need to keep going down in the main jets? Thanks
