  1. Sent you a pm. Well, 2 actually, i furked up the first time.
  2. all part of the fun, huh?
  3. don't know why you'd go there in the first place.
  4. Don't know if this is true, but I was told that the dyna will yield another 6 horses on the dyno. don't know how much translates into the wheels, but just wondering what you guys thought about that. it's hard for me to part with 4 bills for something I'm unsure about.
  5. yep, I see. don't know about the warrior arms, sorry.
  6. what year is your bike? if your getting consistent spark, then it's not the cdi. check your compression to verify the coolhead is sealed and the top end is tight. who did the top end and what parts are new and what parts did you have before? Generally, with my little experience anyway, when the cdi goes bad, there is nothing, no more starting, not even a puff here and there, goes bone dead. Do me a favor and double check your spark to reconfirm that you are getting consistent spark on both plugs, and do a compression test. are your carbs sliding open and closed easily, or are they sticking at all, check that. how advanced is the timing? Check all that and get back.
  7. Congrats. Hope they work well for you. Concentrate on getting them dialed in right and you'll be rewarded.
  8. That's $1,000 bucks cheaper than some other sets I know about.
  9. No. Nope. No way. Do not think that a scratch, especially a millimeter deep is okay. That will need to taken out, I wouldn't even think about maybe trying it. A millimeter compared to the tolerances in the cylinder is HUGE. You bore when your cylinder is worn enough that the standard bore (or whatever bore your on) is worn enough to prevent the cylinder from making adequate compression, or you have a scratch a millimeter deep. If you don't know what size pistons are on it. Take it to the shop to perform the top end and let them measure the diameter, they'll know what size bore is in it, and what size to step up to.
  10. Yeah, I'll work on that.
  11. No, no. She's mine, all mine. Just kidding. Nice to see ya here. I think you'll fit right in. If you like, own, or want a banshee, this is the place to be. BTW, I posted in your rims post a minute ago.
  12. Hey there hot stuff. Nice to see ya on our side of the tracks. Most people here are nice, just watch out for Boonman.
  13. the resistor prevents interference to other objects. The plugs run identical. If you don't have the resistor, for instance, it could interfere with tv reception, and I believe some ignitions require the use of a resistor.
  14. Those should work very well in your scenario. Boots are easy to find, but I'll let someone more experienced help out with that. I haven't done much on finding new boots for different sized carbs.
  15. my vote also.
  16. if it's an oring head, then inspect. if okay, reuse. If its a paper gasket, then by all means buy a new one, never reuse a paper gasket. The oring is designed to be reused, as long as it's not nicked or anything, nice and smooth is what you want.
  17. Well, I was just getting back from doing a plug check, went from a 185 main to a 190, and 50 pilot to a 52. I was putting the tools up and in walks my wife. She asks me to watch Cole for a minute (thats our 19 month old's name). Well, I say okay, thats fine. He loves the shee by the way. He was pushing the shee back and forth, he likes to roll things. He looks busy, I say and walk into the tool room for a very split second. BANG BANG BANG. What the hell? I run out to find him with my pounding my 1/2" ratchet onto the top of my rear fender. Needless to say, it's not too hard for a 1/2" ratchet to put some serious dings into soft plastic. What's the lesson here? Don't turn your back on a 19 month old, especially around your shee. I know, I don't worry about the plastic too much, because it's probably gonna get damaged anyway. Honestly, the dings in the fender are way worth his huge love for my banshee. When I ride up to the back of the house, he runs to the door (with a big window) and waves, or opens the door and runs out, begging for a ride. That's worth it. I take him for a ride to check the cows on it, or cruise to the other side of the ranch to check on other crap. He loves to ride it with me. Just thought I'd share that with you. Scott
  18. Sweet, maybe I'll catch up toya.
  19. Those would be good pipes for trails, fire roads, etc, and the price would be much better. $1171 for PTs. WOW!
  20. yeah yeah, your a tough guy.
  21. Boonman, that is officially the funniest shit I've seen on here.
  22. thats funny shit.
  23. probably your premix overflow. or maybe it came out of your pants. sorry, i'm just in a smartass mood.
  24. If you go to little sahara, you'll be passing right near me before you cross into OK. I wouldn't making a trip up there with ya. I've never made up there and can't find anyone around me to go. I do know that they have facilities. Here's a link to the Little Sahara website. On the other hand, I don't know where Kermit is exactly, but that sounds good, although maybe a little too far for me.
  25. You might have a cable sticking, not lubed enough. Just a thought. I'd just get rid of the damned parking brake. I've never "parked" mine.
