  1. you mean an exhaust clamp, or collar in this case?
  2. A month or so ago, my shee was running great, no problems, been that way for a year. Well, all of a sudden, the top end dropped out. WTF? Thought maybe I had an air leak on the intake or something. Did a plug check, white as snow. I was running a 185, and have for 4 months, perfectly. Well, maybe something's different. I threw in a 190, and still bone white. Screw it, threw in a 200. Still pretty white, but a little color. I couldn't figure what the hell happened. I didn't just jet, i troubleshooted quite a bit, with nothing found. I talked to my "bud", a fellow banshee man and racer, who also is the one who led me to the Iridium plugs. I asked him about it, since this all started happening about the time I changed to the plugs. He said, "hey, you need to jet for those plugs". What? Well, I know the iridiums burn much hotter, but evidently 400% hotter. They burn so hot, that they warrant a serious look at the jetting when used. Afterwards I jetted for them, and I went from a 185 to 220, and up on the pilots a few points. Now it runs really great and dialed in perfectly. This may not be weird to some of you, but I've never really heard of jetting specifically due to a set of plugs, but that's the scenario with the Iridium plugs. The reason I'm telling you this, is because I've mentioned these plugs to a few people in a few threads, and I don't know how many people have seen that. However, I don't want people to go run and buy these, go race the next day and blow their piston into 100 pieces. I was lean as hell, luckily I hadn't done much riding, and it was all slow poke riding around my house. Some of you may already know this, and I apologize for being stupid if that's the case. Later fellas, Scott
  3. the 150mph is the speed of his farts.
  4. Will you be bringing "her". You know who I'm talking about. Seriously, that might be fun, I'd like to make that.
  5. heard that.
  6. 340 sounds a little rich to me, your sig says chopped lid. Not that thats bad. If you cand do a good test, then rich is good. I was running 310 main / 27.5 pilot with my fattys, reeds, coolhead, and a chopped lid with a uni. I wouldn't really use the choke as a way to know if its rich or not. What's the highest gear you can get it in? Run it hard some and see if it bogs, if not go up another size to see if it sputters. If so, back off one.
  7. Glad we could help. Have you done the wot test to check your main?
  8. Trace the wires back to the switch. Make sure all the connections are good. Check voltage on both sides where the wires split to seperate lights. How is the ground on the nonworking light, make sure its grounded good. Last, but certainly not least, check the bulb.
  9. Very very nice. Congratulations Tungsten. Your house is your biggest investment and one of the biggest decisions you can make. When is the house warming party and are we all invited???
  10. It all boils down to traction. Like die said, asphalt could be a plus.
  11. I don't really know how it'd go with the red, might look great. I know it'd look awesome with the black.
  12. alright, alright. I was just being stupid and sarcastic, or mean I guess. I don't need that stuff I listed. I don't really want you guys to take the time to reply to that. Just making a joke. DUNEDEMON got it. BTW, I've been looking for one of those and haven't been able to find one, maybe Ebay.
  13. like he said, make sure they weren't put in backwards, and make sure that they were put back into the correct carb and not switched.
  14. the thing about painting the frame is it's a bitch to do it, because you have to tear everything down. if your going to do it, do it once. if your going to do it once, make sure people know you did it. If you have black plastic and a black frame, they'll think, "hey, there's a le banshee". You want them to say, "damn did you see that banshee with the awesome frame". Definitely go color. I like the Yamaha blue.
  15. yep, that is a very good tip. Especially if you have one really worn item and the other is new. As inexpensive as sprockets are, there is no reason not to.
  16. This is one of those opinion type products, everybody has a favorite. I personally believe you can't get a better tire than Razr. They hook up well in the loose and equally well in the dry hard stuff. The turf tamers hook up alright on the looser stuff, but seem not too well on the harder stuff. If you search for mx tires, you'll find more than enough reading to last all night.
  17. I don't think that thing could get up to 60 with Jack's fat ass on it, let alone 150.
  18. I like mine. I think they gave me great throttle response and helped emphasize the midrage power I wanted. Many people have different opinions on these reeds, as you'll find in a search.
  19. That's a nice touch.
  20. Yep, I was running 310 main and 27.5 pilot with the airbox lid and a uni filter. with vforce reeds also.
  21. refresh my memory, when is easter? i'd like to make that.
  22. Sorry, I should've followed up rather than just telling you not to ride. Like Bensshee said, check your sprockets and stuff to see if they're still grabbing. New ones are cheap, especially from places like Rocky Mountain ATV. Like $8 for front and $14 for rear, for JT steel. Cheap. If your unsure, post a pic and let us see.
  23. Yeah, how about not being an ass when people try to help you out. Did you ever think of that?
  24. Those are some great photos there Led. Thats great. DirtGrrl, they're a lot of fun. We used to say, aww, we're not really ready for kids, but if you wait, you might not ever be. I now know that, but I didn't then. The first 6 to 8 months can be kinda tough, but once they hit a year and start walkin, oh man, expect the unexpected. But my 35 year old brother, he'll never have kids, doesn't want them. Thats the way he his, and he should do what he feels is good for him. He does love our kid though, and kids in general, just not for him.
  25. Well, I wasn't really trying to be mean, i just figured I'd go play.
