  1. What about big blues avatar on your bicep or something and when you flex, her juggs squeeze together like the avatar.
  2. go for it. I'd pay that if I wanted that tank.
  3. premix ratio to rich, bad fuel, bad plugs. just a start.
  4. Engine Ice is by far the only way to go. It's even pretty to look at. When we run out of beer and liquor, we drain our radiator and have some on ice. Try Rocky Mountain ATV.
  5. you suck, banshee and yfz.
  6. To early to tell. My wifey won't want any part of that I believe. I have a couple buds that may or may not go. I may try to camp with you, or I may just bring the triple slide 40' bus with the satellite.
  7. No, it's not a bad idea to put an inline filter on the fuel line. I like the see-thru filters, that way you know what you got.
  8. I'll give ya $1,500 right now.
  9. I can feel a definite seat of the pants difference, don't know, maybe only a better response thing than the overall power thing, but it's there. I haven't spent much time on it and really got familiar with it yet. Actually, I was going to work on my jetting a little more. I'm at 220, but I don't have anything more. My jets will be here today and I'm hoping a 230 will run really good and not bog. I want to go up on my pilot one more and play with the needle some. It was explained to me that it is the resistance. The electrode is so hot and small that it requires less voltage for an equal spark, or more spark with equal voltage, due to the resistance. That is just what you were saying. I never thought about the heat range, and it seems the jetting is going to work out for the better. Scott
  10. Funny, I have my RMATV catalog open right this very minute. The castor is $4.49 for the small and $16.99 for the big bottle. I use the Maxima measuring bottle I got from them also. I'm getting ready to place an order, anybody need anything? Yeah right!
  11. just an fyi, the rear is much much easier to change out. i remove the big hub nut and remove the hole hub/tire. change the sprocket, and throw the hub back on. much easier. personally changing a tooth or so isn't going to help your lowend much, just make you shift a whole lot more. that's my personal opinion, but others like the lower teeth up front.
  12. overall they seem to be very good pipes. I've never ran them, just speaking of the overall consensus I've read. The PT mids give about the most midrange hp you'll get from pipes, and I believe the hi revs are supposed to be excellent pipes. Sorry that i don't have anymore experience with them, but maybe that will help a little.
  13. sell it. honestly, you should be looking at an exhaust first and foremost. after that take off the lid and jet it. that will make a lot of difference. from there, the world is your oyster. cam, compression, intake, you name it. tires might be worth changing, don't know about the yfz stockers.
  14. that thing looks hella fun. it says weigh up to 250. i can happily say i'm in that range. all though as short as it is, that is a lot of concentrated weight. like 5'4" 250 lbs. Anyone here fit that bill?
  15. and it only gets deeper...
  16. a lot of people won't accept the cod, especially for that much money. you'd just have to ask the seller. if he'll go with the cod, then that will work, but the seller has to agree with it or it's a no go. he'd be the one setting up the cod shipment.
  17. They make solar power units and if installed correctly work pretty good, and opener not installed correctly will work like shit. They are kinda pricey though. Tractor Supply sells some.
  18. Damn, that is a sure way to ruin an afternoon. Are you back up and running?
  19. If you don't have new pipes, always do that first, those are the lifeline of the motor. Second, I am a big fan of the single carb setup, however if you get one, never get the 33mm. For small change, you get the 35mm and when your ready for that kit, the 35mm is a much better size, plus it won't limit you as bad with porting and such.
  20. Absofreakinglutely, especially when the web comes into play. You need to be very very careful. I tried to sell a jeep over the internet. The guy said he was going to send me the amount plus extra for storage. the extra amount I was going to give to a guy that would come pick it up and take it storage. That sounded weird, but as long as the payment was legit, I didnt' care what he did. He sent me a cashier's check. I took it to the bank, told them it was a little sketchy and I wanted to make sure that the check was good and there were no problems. They said that would be easy. I went in a week later, and they said the check had cleared, everything was legit. I took out the money I was supposed to give this guy coming. A day or so later, the buyer emailed me and told him the guy could no longer come to pick it up and asked me to send him that amount back. I then said hold up, something's weird. I held on to the money. About three days later, the bank called and said they had messed up and the check was counterfiet. That really pissed me off, one that the guy was trying to screw me, but even worse, two, the bank that I trust said originally the money was good and gave me a portion. If I'd used the money, or sent it back, I'd have been out that money. I would have fought the bank because they told me it was legit, but if the bank wants the money back, they'll get it. Just beware. Not everybody are crooks, but they are out there.
  21. Absolutely not! I just wanted to make a note to this. Us motorheads are always tinkering. I don't have anything to put on or fix on the banshee right now. But almost every day, I spend an hour or so cleaning, or checking, or greasing, or cleaning air filter or chain, or something's going on. People that don't know any better confuse this with the, "always broke down and have to work on" bullshit. When I first met my wife, she asked me why I like quads so much if I'm always having to work on. When we first started dating, she would literally sit and watch me clean, tweak, and just tinker for hours every day. I had an lt250r at the time. Like I said, she asked me why I like it so much if I'm always working on it, that's the mentality non-motorheads or non-shee lovers have with these things. They interpret it differently and don't understand.
  22. Me 2! That's the plan anyway...unless my shit's all torn apart & off getting powder coated. If not I'll be there with my rail, banshee, & 400ex. I'll post when I am 100% sure. Very sweet. I'll try to tentatively schedule for the 19th. I haven't been on sand in a long while, and it was at a small shitty place, so we'll see if I can hang.
  23. Get to be buds with your local yamaha tech. a good friend of mine is a tech at the local store, I just take them to him for a no charge change.
  24. well, if your bone stock. the very first thing to do is get some pipes. the type of pipes will depend on your riding style. You have got to get a Pro Design ProFlow flange for the air box. That will help you flow good and get a good seal, unlike the stock opening. That's a place to start.
  25. damn, if it's that cheap, I need to get insurance. I've honestly never checked.
