  2. Are you trying to mix in the tank itself??? If that's what your talkin about, then no. If you fill the tank up completely and then try to add oil, you'll have that [censored] spilling everywhere... Get yourself a 5 gal gas can and mixing cup...like ratio-rite.
  3. Thanks guys... as soon as i saw i was gonna have a problem w/ the rad hose i took the head pipe off....I didnt wanna play (connect / move anything around)w/ it till i found out if was nessary to do..., but yeah that's the order i'm going to mount it.. Thanks for the tip...I'm gonna try the "sacraficial hose"...... one other thing...the (long) spring that holds the right and left head pipe, that wont be used on the Fatty's, will it?
  4. ... ... ...LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!... ... ... now that's funny sh.....
  5. I went to put on the pipes(right side) and noticed that the lower rad hose was was coming in contact w/ the pipe. I also noticed that the hanger holes(top of pipe and frame) didn't line up. The instruction (if you can call 'em that) didn't really say anything other than "these pipes can not be used w/ stock silencers.... #1 do i have to reroute the rad hose? #2 did the holes not line up cause i'm using the factory hanger bracket, or maybe i didnt have the pipe positioned right, or????? any advice on this one??? I did a search, but couldn't find anything related....if there is something and i over looked it, I'm sorry.. ...it's late....

  10. yeah same here... 3 days in a row...i think thats some kind of record....... i've never ridden in wet sand...will that make for muddy conditions or just pack the sand down?
  11. I've been there too ( I know where your coming from) Street bike accident this past summer(T-boned by a car).. Even after i healed up. and was able to ride again it just wasnt the same.. It always played in the back of my mind... I had to sell her. I guess what i'm saying is...if it's going to always be on your mind while your riding, what fun/safe is that going to be.. I respect your decision to sell her and know how hard it is to have to get rid of it. just my 2 cents..... good luck....

  15. I got rid of my street bike recently and no longer need them. Pit Bull stands- front and rear. about 2 years old. very good shape. rear stand can be used on a swing arm w/ or w/ out spooles. (has both set ups) front stand is the fork lift type (lifts at the bottom of the forks NOT the steering stem) Things i could use for the banshee V-force reeds PC II's +2+1 A-arms front shocks SS brake lines NOSS head a blonde w/...... .... I also have an Ohlins steering damper, Alpinestars V4 one piece leathers, size 54 Euro, black/white, and Alpinestars SMX Plus boots size 45 Euro..if anyone's intrested..

  18. I talked to my dad, on the phone about 2 weeks ago. From What he said and the pics my sister sent me. I'd say there's plenty up there. I seriously doubt that it all could've melted since then. (he lives in Upper MI...North East WI area)
  19. [rereading all posts, and thinking to self] How did we go from what i started w/ to this?????....... If Cotton eyed Joe can get that pole and stage fabbed up, I'll make sure she's there!!.....
  20. i don't see Yamaha puting in a whole lotta R&D(R&D=$$$$) into a new bike, that's only going to be around for a short while...... Unless they plan on detuning the engine from their GP bike.... .. .. M1 banshee 500...kinda has a ring to it....

  24. Thanks for all the help. It was the valves alright. Adjusted 'em, changed the plug, cleaned the air filter, and she started right up. I was reading somewhere that the exhaust valves are known for going out of wack... My nephew thanks you too....
  25. and once you've done that, break out the dremel, hack off all the "extra crap" off the clutch perch, then polish.
