  1. sounds like it's blown,damaged or cracked seal,could be from many things or maybe it's wornout from the abuse.good excuse for a rebuild unless you don't mind parting with some serious cha-ching.a custom quality rebuild should cost you about 300.00 i don't know were your located ,i used + would highly recomend christian paul m.s. in new york.

  4. i have a banshee+a rd4oo lower end opened up,next to each other on the bench to compare.the rd's forks look identical exept there's 4 insted of three,they have a roller tip,+the shafts they ride on are a larger diamiter.i'm wondering if i press in some bushings to make up for the difference in shaft diamiters.can i use these on the banshee drum?does anyone know if this is even possible? if not +anyone has a use for a rd lower end give me a shout.

  6. i ordered one of their power up packages a while back.i speficly ask'd if they had everything in stock?salesman says "yes we'll send everything out today."so i get the order 4days later +i'm missing the headpipe+the endcap on the pro circuit pipe is hamered,probley in shipping.i call them up,get the same yo-yo+he says the pipe's on back order i'll get you one when i can,i'm like WTF,do whatever you got to do.10 days later i call them up finally talked to someone who had a clue,i think one of the owners.he was very apolejectic+said he had one for his quad stashed+he'd send that+a new end cap out today.he did make it right +i got my stuff a couple days later. that was my experience with them hope it helps.

  8. they replaced the original bald ohtsu's.they have a verry agressive tred,they have ben great for all i've throw at them.sand hillclimbs,mx,trails,a great all around tire,i'm looking forward to useing them in the snow.
  9. just got a set ,really like them,would recomend,never owned holeshots.these tires have alot of side bite.their not as forgiving in a slide.their 6 ply so their not light,but their durable+hook great with 3 1/2 psi.
  10. on a 80deg.day lugin through the woods in 2nd 180 that's about max.normaly around a high 150+depending on the type of rideing.i run a 70/30 mix of distiled water+anti freze with some water weter.i have the poor mans meet therm.teed off the small line from the head.

  12. sounds real close to my set up.i'm at sea level w-stock crank+stock carbs,about 60deg.temp.6toomey air box vents,snorkel off lid uncut.dynojet neadles+mains.290mj.neadle middle clid,idle screw 1 turn out.i also run a outer ware over the k+n.
  13. HOOK+BOOK ya think? i read+saw pictures of these hydro peroxide rockets that they use to run at the drags,before they outlawed them in the u.s.in the late 60's. mid to high 3's in the 400's mph,no bullshit.
  14. chase sorry to hear about your truck,but glad your ok! like someone said hold the cluch assembly with a rag+ put the impact to her,should come right off mine did.when you get it off look+see if the c clip that holds the idler gear in place is there.2 of my banshees have issues with that.have you or anyone else experienced that?
  15. check+see if there's still a c clip+a washer on the outside of the ideler gear.it's almost imposibale to see without removing cluch assembly,but if you can slide the ideler gaer out+it contacts the flyweel,thats your problem.
  16. one of the locals from my town runs a mid 6sec nitro coupe.2400hp on the dyno,the car weighs 2400lbs.he's still dialing the chassie,theirs more there,anyway i'm asking him about the launch and he said it's like this.it's like sitting in a school chair and takeing a full blow from a sledge hammer to the back!

    the shaft itself is all i need,good gears not nessary.or a smoked tranny set with a good counter shaft.

    how much time are you willing to invest sounds like a great idea.check this out,how about aCo2 bottel with a typical cylinder+piston set up with a return spring.with something fabbed like a rachiting shift star applied over where the shifter bolts on.rpm activated of coarse off that tach thats in the works.that way the mechanicals could be accesable+simple.you would have to manually downshift,but would'nt lose any of the stock shifting procedures.activate the bottel ,point it,pin it,hold on! done yet

  20. i had no complaints with the stock rear shock until i bolted on the after market ohlin,holy shit what a difference.the stock one witch worked fine,was'nt even compairable,huge difference+it lowered the quad 2in.i have no idea how old it is or what it was set up for,but it works great for me.i got it used,traded my stock shock +some labor,what a deal!about the rebuild i just had it done on another quad,+would highley recomend it.i had christian paul m.s.do it. about 300 beans custom taylored for your ridding style.dual rate elka 0 preload ssd.
  21. 370,went for the first time last weekend,met chase,he'd be the one to talk to about the riding situation,about the paddels,i'd say bring them for the hillclimes,myself i would also bring a set of nobbies or all around tires.there's also some great high speed sections.
  22. made it up to dayton,last weekend.awsome rideing,crazy hillclimbing,competive drag racing,+some good areas for high speed flat tracking.wanted to thank banchetta+his famliy for their hospitality,set me up with a motel,let me stash my quads,+introduced me to all the locals.had a great time,hope to do it again soon,oh ya he kicked my ass drag racing but i thought i held my own pretty well.i was very impresed with his bike when i road it.it had right now throttel responce anywhere in the rpm range espisley(sp) rite off idle.got some good pics,i'll try to get them posted .

  24. 97 t5's proflow k+n with outerware stock air box no snorkel 6'1''holes w foam. stock thr.cable through tors but disconected stock carbs w.needle+jet kit.bog's+revs after a good washing.i've tried other known good carbs from my other banshee+same shit!i know mystator cover seal is letting water in there not a lot ,but it dont tak a lot to fu electrical.my theory is leaning twords electrical.i'll test this theory by misting the stator+pickup area with a spray bottel without getting the carbs wet to see if i can create the problem.
