she is a dane stan, we have had a few of them they dont live real long, but sure brighten up the household.....my wife cant clean the slideing glass door to the back yard cause if she does that damm dog will just come up and run into the glass, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed....when the kids eat she has to be outside, she will come up and just take what ever they are eating and any food on any of the counter tops gets jacked, i cant count the times she's kicked me outta bed......

yeah i am proud of it jim, mostly cause i built it, wired it all and can operate it, alot of studio owners are just guys with cash and hire people to do it all, in my case i have great credit and the knowledge to get this gear up and running as with any biz its all about service......i have guys come to my rooms and tell me they could do my job.....i say what record, edit film? i'll bet you can, but can you find 25 grand a month per room to send the bank though?........its like a kid helping you port for a year, then proclaiming he's the shit at engine builds.......ive recorded alot of good vocalists and have gear to correct pitch, but singing is all about vibe mostly not hitting the notes....since the console is computer controlled you have the guy do 20 passes at the song, then start picking and chooseing his best lines, turn on one track at the same time you mute the other, doubleing lines here and there.....when i engineer its my job to see that whats recorded is not distorted and keep track of whats goin on with all the tracks and such, but when you produce you tell the artist what to sing and when and the engineer is there to take what the producers say and make it happen in the mix, a good engineer is harder to find than a producer......

i think mark knoffler the guitar player self produced sultans of swing......a guy named hugh pagdam did money for nothin....he's also sting's producer.....some groups or artists will use several different guys......i have rap cd's, rock, countyry,jazz as long as it sounds nice i'll listen...some bands mostly grunge type, claim there beeing "old school" by not spending cash recording there records, i say its cause they dont have the budget....oddly enough though when im driving i listen to am talk radio, my ears get pumelled constantly at work......

i have a trinity ported shee......my passion engine makes it feel stock....jims a bad dude, and wont have your jugs forever.....most guys spend 4-6 hours grinding on your shitt....why have it a month.........

my wife is ultra cool......and NOBODY will be giving us any money...when we have guests at the house, thats just what they are..i would be insulted if anyone offered us any money for a shower or meal.....but you will have a great dane puppy lick your face while you sleep and a 9 year old boy telling you his CR-85 will smoke your shee.......and probally have to play a little "off road fury" and "grand theft auto".....but the beer will be cold......

they should hook him up......i know elka would if he had went that route.........i think you just need a stiffer spring, all the preload in the world wont make up for that......that body is only so long ......no sense choking off a third of it, with preload...makes for a funky ride.....

Stan you need to listen to larry carlton play "point it up" or al dimieola in return to forever, that shit makes zakes scribbling on the guitar seem silly...........download it from napster or whatever is popular now..the fucker solo's for 5 minutes and never hits the same note twice........and he plays 64th notes which is fast as fucck....zakk just pencils around......Larry makes zakk sound like a begineer.......and zakk was decent......

call or email eric at elka he may have a stiffer replacement set that will fit that body....if you could get away with that preload adjustment all the way up so the whole body is full of spring it would work better, if they were custom made for you thats how they would come.....my elkas are all the way up and work tits...but my works shocks are preloaded pretty far.....i have friends with works shocks rangeing from 220 pounds to 135 and we all have the same gage spring....most shock makers break the gage every 40 pounds.....

sounds like you need a stiffer primary spring......dont f*ck with the gas valves.....if they sound squishy when you push down on them its cause theres oil and air mixed and thats normal......that little bit of slop at the mounts is normal for works also.....like banchetta said its normal for them to almost bottom, if they didnt the top of the ride would suck....a stiffer spring would let you use less preload, the more a progreesive spring can relax, the better it can travel and absorb jolts, if your preloads jacked down to much, your front end will chatter down bumpy stuff, like a stiff truck on a bumpy freeway..over rutty straights your bars should almost appear to be not bounceing yet the tires are.......banchettas tip of jumping on the front end is a good test, your weight coming down on the frame should drop the shocks considerably.......

Hell Yeah!!!......heres a tip.....first ride wear diapers, second ride tape your pecker to your thigh, its hard to ride with your peter hittin the handlebars......

it's a producer and director with Miramax, they are posting a flick, if once there masters arrived they magicly disapeared?......sniff, sniff i smell a lawsuit......fuckem if they cant take a joke.....i made the mistake of doing some macintosh consulting for the format we all use, with these guys and they wont let me put them with one of my staff, i signed a contract and took a deposit from them back in august, so they have me by the balls, they have a screening date that cant be changed, i didnt tell them i wanted to go riding, i said my nephews getting married and i need to be there, so there gonna try and speed things up if they can......im keeping my fingers crossed..

well its only a 50 gallon but theres 2 showers.......of course if theres any women they outta go first...we can drink, play some poker or pool, BBQ, ride, and let it heat back up, takes maybe a half hour, but if anyones in a hurry to go sleep out in the cold desert, they can shower first.....

hell yeah, "aqualung" was my fav......back then you didnt have the "proximity" of todays recordings, and you didnt have the ability to "multitrack"as much..... a real sharp dude miked them guys up and set some levels and rolled tape, and thats what you hear.....i saw jethro tull here in cali at the "California Jam" with rory gallagher, johnny winter, robin trower all kinds of good acts, but thats back when a concert was like woodstock.....

my place is about an hour from dumont, im still trying to get the time off (i have a client booked then, that swears ill fuckk his entire career if i miss a couple days)...but if i do make it i can bring ten or so guys for showers at a time to the house, grab race fuel or a repair or 2, and i have a play room that if we moved the pool table could sleep maybe 20 people? with sleeping bags....i know my wife makes a good cup of joe and a mean bisquits with sausage gravy......

Thats what its all about Rod.....ill bet money that who ever produced alans album also did deanna carters debut album, wynonna's album, saywer brown and tons of the new country stuff that just kicks ass...country has come along way....rebba macintye has a better studio than I do...all nice new sonicly pure gear, looks fantastic...countrys jumpin these days.......makes alans little guitar ballads sound like a million bucks....if you played alans album for johnny cash or waylin jennings 20 years ago they would have called it noise cause it was so clean and pumpin and in your face....i know all the stuff that comes from mike curbs label is slammin......i dont like country but will listen to that stuff cause it tickles my speakers

its all eye candy Stan...... its a shame it takes that to attract theese morons, i painted one of my rooms purple to get "Prince" to book it for 6 months.....he has the same gear at his pad....some of the "rockstars" have so much bread, if its inexpensive somethings wrong......their management just wants the "Best" for them.....allthough those consoles cost 900 G's, plust construction and out board shit....a mil 5 later...... one of those bastards will give you 3500 a day to hang out in it, and book it for a year straight, its all just credit Stan, lease that console like it was a car.....a month after its in they got something better.......im just chasin my tail......but i do get to put up with pricks and assholes for 12-20 hours a day.....jim thinks he's busy....im typing this right now while a guys singing in the other room...im hitting rewind then play, rewind then play,sometimes pop him into record, id much rather be at home............

reeds and a better pipe..or stroke it and it wont matter what pipe you run.....

shit stan no better way to get laid than to show up in that gear........
