  1. you allways want low end.... any fucking 2 cycle has top end, the more bottom you can get the faster you'll launch, the better trails will be..... the faster times you'll get on the track, you'll climb hills better, if you can get some grunt out of a 2 cycle yer haulin has..........you cant hold that fucker pinned on a track for any length of time, its all about hookin up and gaining time on the bastards that are chaising you, if your shit peters out at 9g's up shift its that simple........

  9. my buddy has a rudy kurtz drag motor, and proudly displays his 90 hp dyno sheets, yet i smoke him in the dirt street or sand, probally cause i can get the jump and keep it, and my bike comes on from idle, his you need to feather the clutch then all hell breaks loose, alot of the guys make ass kickin engines, it just depends on what kinda power band your after

  14. i have works shocks on one bike, elka on the other...works are "ajustable stock shocks" any one wanna argue that....... spend 3k on elkas then we will talk........
  15. bel ray doesnt lube your crank and bearings as well as amsoil or 927, 927 seprates but lubes really well and smells good, alot of engine builders like the 927 or amsoil.....i use neo in one of my bikes at 100:1 and it works fantastic as long as the ratio is not so rich that it loads the bike up....its 6 of one, half dozen the other
  16. after break in id go 40:1, and run fresh plugs with a clean air filter, then start trying to suss out the mis or bog(if its still there) a plug chop will tell you if the mains are rich or lean, if the bikes got stock pipes and air box, remove the airbox lid and try that as well, all two cycles like a feathered clutch to snap there r's up, but with that it should shit and git, (running properly of course)

  20. what you really need is to time your launch to your landing ramp ....no amount of suspension will help you if your landing flat...we have a few ramps that we start off close and start spreading them apart, stay on the pipe through the launch, try to land ass end first,on the down hill.... if you allways got a down hill to desend on you'll be cool, if you dont bail off, landing a shee flat off a 60 or more footer is deadly, ive been through a few frames and tons of aarms landing flat, my buddy just broke his shoulder landing flat on a 40 footer at about 50mph.....it was like he just droped the bike off a 2 story roof at 50 mph, it really fucked him up.......
  21. if youve added anything to that bike (even pipes) id run a 15, bone stock the 14 will do, the key to riding trails (or anything really) is traction and acceration, a 12 just means unless your in 4th gear every time you gas that bitch its spinning,a banshee with pipes will pull a 15 with 20" tires all day long, that 12 just means the bike will never really pull, it will just hang and float through all its gears, maybe a 12 would make 6th pull to about 60mph....bottom line if your geared to tall you might have to feather the clutch, but geared way to low, the motor will spin like a son of a bitch and it will feel like your standing still

  25. make sure you wire tie your cables up so the bottle doesnt frey them
