well i guess neither do the makers of that pipe you seem to no so fuckin much about, how about calling pro circuit and telling them there full of shit, cause i could give a fuck. im only on my eleventh banshee with pro curcuits, the guys bike wont start and you want him to up his piliots and needles?.....how about you give me a hit off what ever it is yer smokin? ive had reeds and an air filter on every bike ive ever owned, a fuckin set of reeds dont take a 25 piliot to 45, maybe a balls out port job does though, so you got a dyno in your garage? i got 40k in banshees in mine.....thats a riot "all the after market filters and reeds" so he's got what? a K&N and some delta's? same as one of my bikes with pro curcuits, a 45 piliot is fuckin unheard of with that setup (thats a feather the living fuck out clutch to get it to rev, peice of shit, no wonder you think he should run stock gearing).....if he needs to run a 45, id say he should change the carbs to at least a pj-34, he's missing out on a butt load of HP, even up to an agreesive MX port, i run 28's on a trinity MX port and it runs better with stock carbs with 30 piliots with PC's, pc's arnt air or fuel pigs like toomeys or fmf's....

i got news for ya chief....pro curcuit recomends you change the mains only. not the piliots not the needles..if you fuck with the piliots your bikes gonna bog first time you stick it, or not wanna start up........call them, check their website, ask them....they shipped the main jet with your pipe..and gear it taller...a 15 up front, it will pull it all day long..why just spinn ever time you nail it?.....

what kinda shocks/a-arms and who built the motor?

you can use an after market billit clamp, put a little jbweld on it and clamp it to the top rail of the swinger, when it dries you cant break it free if you tried, glueing two of them about 8 inches apart looks cool with a braided line

see you just cant beat that shit in the sand i love riding with an extended arm in the dunes, i really like the +2 for dunes but im an mx or open desert rider, the plus four allways felt like i was driving a station wagon to me i like to be able to carve and long jump dunes......... draging up hills against the clock makes you suss out all the little shit, that either gains or looses you time...... same as racing moto cross, a stinking second means being the first one over the line or the first looser over the line, swing arm length changes the whole geomitry of the bike, its cool that some of the billit guys make +2 and +4 extensions for cheap, so you can have a -2 and bolt up a 4" over extension and go duning ........ fellas.....

My bad Locco, i must have skipped over the part where he asked about dragging up groomed hillclimbs, i thought he wanted to ride wheelies and trails probally having to billy goat up most hills and get the jump on his pals he's drag racing with longer arms, in which case while his pals spinning he'll hook and be gone, i know all the 400-700 foot climbs we have out here are all ruts full of switchbacks and shail, when i run a +2 arm with 22" kenda bearclaws i cant hit first or second gear to negotiate ruts or sharp turns without spinning so bad i dig a whole but whith a -2 im damm near sitting on my axle and can stop on almost verticle inclines and take back off again, and on the same hills a 22 foot long F-250 4x4 cant even begin to make it but a little short wheelbased Jeep CJ-5 goes up all day long, but ill agree for compition climbs a longer arm is the way to go.......

id go to 20's too, 18's if the rutts are shallow...keep it geared tall, depends on your engine work (not bolt on goodies) if you can pull the tall gears, you'll hook and accelerate, 22's on a track are insanity........... the front end wants to be taller than the rear for any kind of terrain, any bump you hit is being taken soley by your front end............ that kicks the shit out of you when your riding

well since you didnt mention draggin in the dunes id go a -2........smokin for the trails, by far the best for any jump over 20 feet, best traction youll get, for hill climbs in the dirt, an exteneded swing arm sucks, some guys run them and just spin up hills, id rather wheelie up a 300 foot climb.......... if you got a 2+1 or bigger front end id shorten the bitch, youll hook up....
