  2. should be some number or letters on the top of your needle. that what you need to give to sudco. and 300 mains to start out with on your jetting. 270 will be lean most likely

Ducman, its not just your cc's and timing you have to worry about, the squish clearance and squish band width must be matched to your cylinders at rated peak HP rpm in order for your squish velocity to fall into the right range.   10. you need some bigger carbs if you have a drag port. but if you want to use the stockers. you need to go up on the pilot at least 27.5 maybe more. and raise the needle 5th clip. 390 main is big your probably need a different needle more thinner and shorter for more fuel. thats why your running that big of main. i woudl get some 30 + carbs imo if you want the full performance.

  12. should be able to leave the needle in the middle try some 230 mains with that elevation. might be rich still. plug chop
  13. try a 27.5 pilot, 4th clip on the needle, some 310 mains. and go from there it sounds like you fouled the plugs.
  14. you want the 2 arrows lined up when its free standing. not pulling on it. i push the little arm and some what get it lined up. then while still holding it, tighten the screw down to where the arrows are pretty close. then i adjust the free play on the lever.

  19. good pic the only thing i would have done was wash the motor off and the case so you dont get dirt and shit into it. but i guess you can clean it up when its all apart.

    a arm experts

    got some +2 arms from ebay. was wondering will the stock brake line fit still or will i need a new longer one. also do they make a boot or cover for those heim joint. dont think riding in the sand with them opened would be the best thing. want them to last and not wear out.
  22. what oil and what ratio is he running. you need to see what pilot he has my brother in law has what we call the misquito(spelling) killer. fucker leaves a fog behind it. ive told him i think his pilot is too big but hes one of those that know it all. fouls plus alot .
  23. 310-330 should be close i ran or used to run 340 but had vf reeds adn other stuff.
  24. to each their own. i dont think there is one special builder that builds the super bad ass motor for racing. sure there are many that do very well, but racing is more setup. you can have 110 hp, but if your setup doesnt get the power to the ground your pissing up a rope. my advice is do some searching and research. call them up and remember that everyone one you talk to will say they are the best. it comes down to more of a personal thing. does this guy sound like a prick or does he seem pretty cool. asking on here seems to turn into a pissing match. you probably get pm saying go here or there. but you have to do some checking on your own. IMO HAVE fun and get some vids of you racing.
