  1. no
  2. what jetts do you have in the carbs you might lower them a size or 2.
  3. its not my place to bash someone but this guy is an idiot. http://www.sudco.com/vol33/135-136.pdf you can get those needles all day long, and they are 12 bucks if that not 50. again call jeff and see what he says, your elevation is close to ks. i still think the bike would like a bit of fuel but im not familar with jetting jeffs motors. but this guy i would be very learny of taking his advice. but what do i know.
  4. you will have to ask jeff, but most bikes will like abit of fuel. your running a lean pilot and lean needle and lean clip. its hard to say being 1500 miles away. jeff lives about the same alt. he should be able to get it close. i would just think after being ported it would like a bit of fuel to help with the new air flow
  5. got 2 of them 5 bucks for shipping its yours. get back with me or pm me if you want one.
  6. most likely you put that screw, and nut on and now its not going into the bore enough. remove teh nut for a bit and see if it works, then grind the carb boss down like a 1/8 more so you can get the screw in the bore more with the lock nut.
  7. try putting your needle on the 3rd and 4th clip, bet its gasping for fuel till the main crams enough to get it to run correctly.
  8. signs are: rattling out of spark plugs, plugs are gray in color and fluffy looking, the strap is being closed together, the strap and electrode are being eaten off the plug, these are the easiest ways to notice it, you need at least 100 octane imo.
  9. 5 bucks my guess.
  10. rmatv has chains up to a plus 10 rethenal i think. pretty decent.
  11. got 2 stock clutch levers. shipping they are yours or one is.
  12. grand lake is expensive. better pay good. well maybe i can bring the shee adn 450 down one of these days adn let you ride one or the other. probably be too slow for your taste. lol anyways best of luck.
  13. sweet god i get my shit half way ready for big trail ride with the big man and now your going to bail out on it. lol well shit. good reason to not get married young. well if you want to still ride let me know, figured with all this rain it would be flooded. maybe you can release some anger out riding. lol anyways.
  14. get an intake your stockers will crack and then you lean the motor out adn blow it up you will wish you spent some money for some nice intakes. boss intakes are nice pieces.

  17. terry cable will fit that, or many other after market ones.
  18. like david said check your squish. seen some domes have really fucked up squish.
  19. where did you get the domes from?? how thick of base gasket are you running??
  20. something is goofy cause every pj i played with it took at least 8-9 full turns out to get it to idle.
  21. the needles have letter on the top of them blunt end. pilots go in size of 2-5 ish 45, 48,50, 52, 55, 58, 60 mains are 145, 148, 150, 152, 155, 158 stuff like that. if they are new pj the needles are ceg and i had a bitch of a time jettint with them. cel, cek, dek, del were lot easier to jetting imo. sudco.com has charts and that where to order new stuff from.
  22. first off wasnt brad motor a 4mm not sure might be why you have such shitty compression. you need to figure that out first. brad is at a 1000 ft if that, your at b.f.e 3500 ft. so you cant run the same jetting as him you will be beyond rich. i would put a 50 pilot in, get it to idle. and see where the air screws are at. if more than 2 turns out to get it to idle smooth and not at a fast idle go lower. you will need a carb sync tool to really help you along. jeff sells a good one. get with him. after you get the bike to idle and the air screws like 1.5 turns give or take a bit. take it out and ride it, get it warmed up. then slowing open the throttle up to about 5/8 throttle. it should be a smooth transition into the pipe. if it is smooth or decent try the 4th clip, if it bogs or acts up go back to the 3rd clip. then after you fell it is smooth, start doing the mains 155 would be a good spot to start. 5th gear wot, 4 sec then kill it, pull clutch and stop as fast as possible, then pull plugs try to get them carbboard color. your going to have to get your compression figured out, it wont run the best till you get some more psi. at least 160 psi my guess. let me know if you need anymore help or are confused as fuck now. lol they are easy carbs once you play with them, wes
  23. thats a huge pilot on stock carbs. probably why you had to lean it out so much with the needle. i would say 50-55 pilot, cel, cek needle 4th-5th clip, 150 mains and work down i was at 145 mains with my setup. but that was a 4mm jims motor. you need to find out what needles you have in those carbs.
  24. sounds like me going thru that fence. hope she is ok,
