  1. oh man, thats funny
  2. sounds like possible bent shift forks. Do you like to work on things? I would not pay anyone to work on my shee. You can remove the enigne and split the cases with a regular hand tools and sockets. If you have access to air tools , even better. Just keep track of all the parts and you'll be fine. when you pull the top case off you have access to evey thing.
  3. so you guys gonna go this weekend? let me know, I will go too.
  4. what about memorial day weekend. kinda short notice but i really want to ride this place. we could have a cook out, ride, drink, pass out, wake up and do it again. if not memorial weekend then how about the following weekend.
  5. a brand new one has around 120 to 130. the important thing is that both cylinders have the same psi.
  6. thats good for a bone stock, never opened, almost ten year old banshee.
  7. Turbos are the hotness for all out horsepower. I cant wait till you get the bugs worked out and test it out. I am big into the turbo honda scene and my turbo is too big for my engine, but that is good for drag racing. Here is a pic of my honda project. its a 1992 hatch with complete 2001 integra type r engine / tranny / suspension / 5 lug conversion. it dynos at 398 hp at the wheels with pump gas tolulene mix. 15psi
  8. 400ex vs banshee in a hill climb ahahaahahahahah thats a joke, a banshee will embarrass a weak ass 400ex

  10. what is your outside temp? 55 is too big for warm weather drop down to a 48 and try.
  11. im at sea level and the temp is 70 to 80,needle in the middle. even after holding it wide open for a while, like a jet ski, the cylinder temp is only 155 f and Dan told me not to worry about any melting problems unless my cylinder temps were close to 190 f. It makes hella more horsepower now and I may go leaner when I get to the dyno with a/f meter. My plugs are still showing richness with the 148
  12. that main is not that small, mine is 148. Dan wouldn't set him up with too lean of jetting. He may of put in a rich needle or something. Dan was talking about 145 mains with 35pwk's over on planetsand with 4 mil cub.
  13. no not correct, not even close. you have to read the clymer and it explains how to adjust it properly. this is how I do it in my own words. you have to let all the slack out of your cable at the handle bar. go down to the pressure plate and loosen the 12mm nut and phillip screw thing. then you have to do two things at once. 1. you push your clutch arm (the thing in the pic) torwadrs the clutch and then while still holding pressure on it you adjust the screw in or out until those two arrows line up. if you have it set to where you pull the cable in and it goes to those marks, then that is incorrect. when the lever is pulled completely the arm should go past the mark.
  14. no, not those arrows. go to page 69 in your clymer manual and look at figure 48. those are the arrows i speak of. if you dont do that step properly, your clutch will not last long at all.
  15. did you line up the arrows correctly on the engine case and clutch arm?
  16. sold thanks
  17. 34 keihin are going to be the old style pj model. the 34 pj's have been discontinued and they are still a good choice because they are cheaper, but they have been known to be a pain in the ass to jet and idle correctly. 33 pwk are made by keihin too which is the newer style, they will prolly do the best job for what you have. Maybe even some 28 pwk bored to 30, I would stick with pwk's. Some people like mikuni carbs, but I have no expierence with them except for the stock banshee mikunis.
  18. 33 pwk will still have plenty of bottom end when jetted properly and really good mid - top power, but the top end gain from 33's may be negated by exhaust choice.
  19. I really like rocky mtn atv too, i try to buy from them whenever I can. nothing but good things to say, really good people!!
  20. can you post a pic or send a pic to [email protected] thanks
  21. depends on what carbs you have. I didnt notice a big diff in fuel economy until I switched to 34mm pj's.
  22. did you have a degree key?
  23. pm ~~banshee~~ he is making htem. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showuser=16403
