  1. Anybody else got any suggestions?
  2. My 96 was still on stock til this last year when I rebuilt after a mishap of a most likely warped milled head.
  3. I was gonna go with 2x3 for the base frame. It's 5 bux a foot. That 3" channel is only 2 bux a foot. I could only imagine the 2x4 would be about 7 bux a foot and that I definitely can't afford. Maybe I'll still go with 2x3. It all depends on this thing that's going on with this guy I know...If he can get me the money or not. Anyway...The 1x1 for the enclose frame would be 1/8" thick. It's planned for 6'6" high just so I can stand in it...Also depending on what I can get for sides, may only be 6' high. The front is gonna be v-shaped. It's really only gonna be 10 feet long, but 2 extra feet for a v. I was just gonna go 2" ball mount. I figured that'd be decent enough. Other than that I got about 4 days a week for 4 weeks from 8 am til 4:30 pm to work on this and I'm definitely gonna take my time and make sure everything is square...only thing I'm concerned about squareness right now is mounting the axle. Do enclosed trailers like that have to be licensed or DOT approved before it can be legal or am I able to just throw it on the road when I get done? Bob
  4. Alright, I got this fabrication class comin up in about a week for my Industrial Maintenance course. I decided to make a 12x7 enclosed. I picked up a 2000 lb torsion axle for a starting point. I'm gonna use 3" channel iron for the base frame and some 1x1 square tubing for the outer frame. I'm workin on some aluminum sheets to cover it, but I gotta wait for my guy to get back to me. As for lights I'm gonna pick up one of these trailer light kits for around 30 bux. Now, does anybody have any other suggestions for things to do or watch for when building this thing? I got all the tools I could possibly need so I'm not worried about that, and I'm a good welder so that's no problem. But if there's anything else that maybe I should need to know holla at me. Bob
  5. They all kinda scary...and Taz looks like a bat. What's this world coming to?
  6. I used to do wheelies all day long. 1st through 6th keepin it balanced. My friend was there to witness even. Just need right conditions etc. I used to be really awesome at wheelies, but not riding for so long I probably killed that ability. Just gotta get used to it again. Dunno how fast I was goin, but my friend has a 250r and was riding alongside me in top gear as I was wheelying. Believe me or not. Bob P.S. I heart Lefty's video...watch it at least 5 times a day.
  7. I always start in 3rd. Holeshots every time.

  10. They are on rims and damn near brand new, plus, you didn't have to be an ass about it, a simple 'no thanks' woulda done. I ain't just giving them away.
  11. I'd like 100 bux shipped for the tamers. For the front lights I'd like $25 shipped. Bob
  12. Bump...Come on what happened to all the guys that asked for stuff...Still have pretty much everything for sale yet minus the realtors. Bob
  13. Wel,l it's actually my friend's swingarm, he just asked me to sell it for him. He'd like $500 shipped. Here's a few pics.
  14. Sorry guys haven't checked back for a few days. Bmatlock - The swingarm will not fit an 86 (if thats what you meant) because an 86 has a piece in the middle missing to mount with the engine on it. BansheeRacer18 - dont waste my time Holyman - I will get you some pics tonite if you're still interested. Bob
  15. I have. My buddy's got a 250r. I'm flyin past him in 5th gear already. But hopefully that'll change soon. He's getting a 330 and mx port for the upcoming season, and I'm getting some mx ported jugs. Hopefully it'll be a little bit closer for drags.
  16. It's in phoenix...There's gotta be somebody out there willing to help a fellow rider out
  17. Well the guys I've talked to said they loved it there. And some of the dealers I've talked to said they usually only hire guys that already have training from an MMI school or something that has to do with engine repair and such. I've tried to get a job at the local honda dealer already. And I asked the yammy dealer and I got the same responses. Plus I'm excited to just get the hell outa WI right now.
  18. Well I planned on going to school at MMI in AZ since senior year and I decided to stick around here in WI for another year. Just took an Industrial Maintenance course at a nearby college. I was gonna wait another year and make some money first before I went next year, but my friend was goin this year. Well 2 nights ago my gf and I got in a fight and we ended up breaking up. I'm going to AZ! I'm sick of it here and my passion is bikes and quads. So MMI is where it's at and if anybody has a garage with room for a banshee I'd be willing to pay a bit if it could be stored there (preferably within a few miles of the MMI campus). Just super excited about finally going and wanted to share. Bob
  19. I got a set of 88/89 style 250r ac pro peg nerf bars for sale. Make an offer. I can get pics also. Bob
  20. I have a 88/89 style trx250r chrome lonestar swingarm stock length. Make an offer I can get pics also.
  21. I got a 78 Ski Doo Olympique 340 and (not sure on the year) I just picked up this other one from a buddy of mine...Scorpion 400. Got them both for free in non-running condition and fiddled with them a bit. They run like a mofo now.
