All right, another one sees the light. I have a 550 with the powerstroke and like it. Be prepared though, there's a whole new world of mods and stuff for the powerstroke. I just got a 2000 F150 to tear around town in, too. I know someone who did the same thing with a 5.0 and a ranger. It ALWAYS ran hot for some reason.

Thats probably because its a manufacturers warranty. Ive had terrible experiences with best buy, really. Wal mart if possible!

cable- Motion pro will probably save you some $$ and is a good cable. perch/lever- if you want to, the pep ez pull setup works good (IMO) Ive been getting all the factory parts that I need from Bob over at Magnolia Yamaha. I'd just clean the carbs real good and inspect them.

"Alba" told me they have like a $1600 fee on top of the stock price that they charged on all bikes. I was thinking about getting a YFZ from them. I asked them why anyone would do that when they could get a pipe and graphics kit for like $4-500. He told me bacause they set it up, jetted it on a dyno blah blah blah and that he will put up his alba bike agaist anyone's and beat it. Thats about when I told him to shove it. If I lived closer I'd take my YFZ up there and challenge an "alba" one. Thats just how I feel though

Probably the same bike anyhow. I know the new 4 stroke 250 Kawasaki and Suzuki are the same bike! A product of "joint production" or something like that they called it. Suzuki would be on top of things then. I know they got RC, but if they had Bubba, too....

- Its set up for XC - It has stock arms - And a stock frame that "looks" good, but if you look close there are horrible attempts at welds that are PC'd over. I think it needs the welding to be done right, or I know where there is a nice frame for $300 which is a deal. - and (this is the worst thing about it)..... Its old school honda orange plastics Makin it sound pretty bad now but, I have to be honest, and get that kinda stuff out there. I didnt take pics yet bacaue I've been waiting on the CDI, and rebuilding all the brakes, so its kinda apart. Actuallty its a good time to take pics I guess. I need an Email address ? I pmed you E, a while back asking for yours. Someone just gimme an address.

Im a licensed dealer, and Im going to Texas probably next week??? Chances are probably slim to none that the time frame would be right for me to be there at the auction at the right time, but I'll do what I can to halp ya out. Its probably in a tow yard or something now. You need to stay on the Ins company for information on it. If they gave you money for it, Im pretty sure they own it. They should know where its at. Hopefully not some scandelous repo/tow company that put the wheel back on and is using it to chase the dog around the junk yard Or even worse parting it out.
