I gap at .022 for gas. Manual will say different....

Thanks,

It seems like the manual says something like .028. Since I mostly ride trails I am always fouling plugs. I try to keep her wound up as much as I can but sometimes they get me anyway. And since I am not running er hard I run my mix at 50:1 synthetic & that helps some.

Thanks again sheefreak,

Jason

i shoot for the .028 and .030 area. if you foul plugs why not just do a plug chop? i had that problem riding trails and i lowered the needles one clip and it got better. they are not the best but i havent fouled a plug in awhile.

Wow! My motor buider has me gapping at .018. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get them bitches right? Lol. Mines on methanol though.

Thats right .018 for alky. There are many ways to skin a cat but I find its easiest to put your gauge in and bang the plug on the work bench till its tight.
