llawndogg Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Im in need of a new crank and was wondering if anyone has heard how good wiseco cranks are. Please let me know what u know! Quote
2strokespirit Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Wiseco and Hotrods are both made in Taiwan, but they have been used for years now in the banshees and other bike as a replacement crank or stroker. They are good and can handle pretty much anything you throw at it if, its trued and welded, go for them. Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I would also consider a TZ bearing on the power side, depending on what you are doing to the engine... Quote
hyperlite33 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 I think just about everything I have owned of Wisco's (crank included) has been very good. Give Jeff @ F.A.S.T a call since he puts a nice extra weld on it and has great prices! Quote
tgbanshee Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Wiseco is one of the top names when it comes to internal engine components, you can't go wrong with them. I have a Hot Rods 4mm stroker crank welded by Jeff at F.A.S.T. Racing along with the upgraded power side bearing and haven't had any problems at all. Quote
