chevrolet banshee Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I have been thinking of what i should do with my banshee, Right now i have 35mm Kehin pwk's, clean up port, and fmf pipes. I have been watching alot of DmcBanshee's vids, and i really want to do that stuff he dose but with thos big carbs i have a shitty low end. The top end is like a light switch you'll be puttin and bam it hits and your gone, now thats not a bad thing but not really what im looking for. So my question is what should i do to make my banshee more of a MX banshee and less of what ever the fuck you call mine? Thanks Chevshee Quote
jbooker82 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Or get a 4mill crank, dune port job, and cpi's and keep the carbs. Quote
sinisterboo Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Pay attention to what pipes DMCBANSHEE runs, and he is on here, PM him and Im sure he will tell you anything you want to know. Quote
HammerShee99 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 You can probably get by with the big carbs if you upgrade to a 4mil setup and get an aggressive porting job. If it's low end you want, you have a lot of options for pipes. Your FMF's should work just fine, though. Quote
racer Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 you should give it to me for proper usage. Quote
chevrolet banshee Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 Or get a 4mill crank, dune port job, and cpi's and keep the carbs. Ya i wood do that but i don't think its in my budget, Ya know the cranks like 500$ plus whatever els i wood have to do. Chevshee Quote

Ya the fmf's probably wood work but thay are really old and dented so i think its time for a upgrade. I was thinking i usta have a 35mm single carb, i liked it for the most part. so i could go pick up a intake off eBay and tho one of my carbs in it and that wood work. Chevshee Quote
moneybags Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) Get a timing plate and set it to +4. Noss head with smaller domes or have the stock head shaved down some. Both will help out the bottom end. A seat cover wont hurt eather. Edited July 3, 2008 by moneybags Quote

sheerider1026 Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 run that single carb that you have.. i wanted the same thing so i put a single carb setup on mine(35mm pwk) and i love it.. great bottom and mid with a great topend also.. and get a noss head with 19 or 20cc domes (depending on your elevation) and a timing plate.. and some carbon fiber reeds if money allows.. you can also go smaller on your front sprocket.. theres a lot of options Quote
chevrolet banshee Posted July 3, 2008 Author Report Posted July 3, 2008 Im thinking im going to try to keep my carbs and go with a timing plate noss head with 20cc domes and a mx port and to top that all off T-5's. Chevshee Quote
