Need advice

Ok so i have had my fourwheeler for a while. its completely stock. never had a problem with it. I have not even een beat in a race til yesterday when my fiend ark got a new raptor 700. he put new pipes on it and i dont know what eles. he smokes me by 3 enghts now. its so annoying. so what should i do to get back on top inmy neightborhood. I want a fast banshee that i can still ride in the field and down pretty stright trails.

pipes, pod filters, tors removal, proper jetting, and if funds permit nice port and those 700s are NO joke.

Yeah pipes and filter are definitely a big improvement over stock. You'd be surprised how much of a difference they make. Maybe a coolhead and timing plate to improve your low and mid-range. And like LS1Inferno says, porting. Makes a HUGE difference

Well you should be able to get some good portwork done in the 3-4 hundred range, but you may want to go with some basic bolt-on mods like pipes and filter first.

at first i put a k&n in with chopped lid and it made a decent difference

Back on subject here lol. What types of riding do you primarily do with your banshee, as this will be the deciding factor on exactly which pipes and filter setup you go with. Also, what kind of a budget do you have to throw down on some more power? Pipes and porting will be your two biggest power gains. A well setup bolt-on banshee will handle a bolt-on raptor with no problems with the right mods.

I saw an 812 raptor beat a 10mil three weekends ago... If you want to beat the 700 with any mods, you are going to have to get port work. There were only about 3 banshees that would run with my 700 last weekend.

now i can finally say im faster than you. j/k . you gonna love that raptor that thing goes thru all types of shit and you can rag the shit out of the engine. you should change that weak pipe and get some duals. oh and i always new you had a 10mill and so did my fat friend you had said it a long time ago when you were first building it. watch your gonna end up making that raptor faster and racing it to you'll see. once your a racer you stay a racer. racing is like an addiction that never goes away.

Raptors are good FINALLY got to go out in the trails and enjoy it.All Im doing is holeshots and Barker Duals and Powercomander.It feels good to be out of the street racing bullshit and get to ride.Wish people down here werent pussies and shit.Im going to build a Banshee again just wanna take a break and take girls out in the trails for a bit.But I aint going to race at all on this raptor only racing will be practice MX for fun.Cant say how happy I am right now.but honestly to many people were scared of my bike already.that bullshit your boy did to us is what mostly everyone does except they dont call nobody they just ask for to many bikes.Still pretty funny we offered him 10 and the hit and he wouldnt take it.Oh well this raptor is to much fun.And I got a z400 in the deal to.
