SQUIRREL MASTER Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 we had some chick today riding with us by the levy and feel of the bike and my boy ran her over by mistake. she broke her leg in 5 places. her leg looked like a spagetti string. but yeah you gonna love the raptor but eventually you will wanna go fast again you'll see. my first banshee i sold then bought a raptor that you saw at 41 st then sold that raptor and kept my second banshee. my banshee now is a keeper. i can trail ride with it and i can race with it. after a while of hearing people on banshees talk shit to you that they beat you im sure you'll go backto the banshee.FOR NOW GO RAG ON THE RAPTOR. That needs to be the next thing you buy, and you need to get it BEFORE you ride anymore. That is the only way to adjust your air/ fuel on the 700s efi, if your bike is piped and has no PCIII, you are going to be very lean. PM me if you want some info on where to get your pcIII, and barker duals. I have a pretty good hookup on that stuff. Barkers are the way to go too, I f'ing love mine! If you are getting a pcIII and barkers, get an intake and a 15tooth front sproket too, once you open the raptors up you can really use another tooth up front. Quote

It came wit one but not the dyna its a Terminal Velocity 2.Im going to switch to the Dyna when I get Barker Duals unless this one is good too Quote
theshee Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 The dyna is a programmable ignition, you need a power commander. They are two seperate things. I have the dyna AND a powercommander on mine. You cant adjust the fuel with the ignition... Quote

You'll never have the fastest bike everywhere, I don't care who ya are... If you've never dumped a dime into it and only been beaten once, leave it. Sorry Im kind of a newb to these thumpers.The terminal Velocity II is a type of fuel control thing like the pcIII.Im going to switch to The PCIII when I get the barker duals just because there more common and known.Kiel man these raptors are to much fun tho and there not slow!!! I have a hotcam stage II cam for sale if you want it... With barkers the hotcam II is about 3-4 bike lengths. It is a drop in, doesnt require springs or any head work like the megacycle cam I run. $95 shipped if you want it. Definatley get the PCIII when you can. There are so many maps floating around from guys that dyno and share maps. The other commanders dont let you share maps so the PCIII is the best route. If you get barkers and get my cam I would have a map for you that I had made on the dyno for those mods when I ran it that way last year. Quote
