Dinner Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Hey guys, So some friends and myself are planning on heading over to Silver Lake the weekend of July 1st-4th I think. A few of them have been there once before but I have never been, not even on sand. We are planning on just camping there, but still need to look into it more. Basically just wondering if any of you fellas will be there that weekend? :biggrin: Quote

I am running my Pro Circuits with the 304 Silencers. Are there any ways I could put some sparkies on there, or would I be better to buy some FMF's with spark arrestors or something along those lines? dajogejr Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Craig... A lot of us will be up the weekend before for the ATV bash. It's a huge race as the track near there. Not too many can afford going to the dunes two weekends in a row... It will be packed for the 4th, too. You probably won't see quite as many fast drag bikes on the 4th as you would on Memorial or Labor day weekends. I'm NOT saying there wont' be fast bikes there....so, no offense to anyone. I think that a lot of us that live 3 to 5 hours away can't afford two weekends a row in the dunes...and I know alot of our track buddies will be there for the bash. Craig....if my sparkies will fit, I will send them there with JT for you to use. They fit T5 and Shearer silencers that I know of (round style) You're more than welcome to 'em!! Quote

I'd love to go! but my sisters wedding is kinda a big deal I guess from what people are telling me.. so I think its mandatory that I attend.. Someone told me I was the Best Man... Does that mean I have to go?? Wedding or Sand Dunes.... Hmmmmm... On a side note.. If this is one of the only chances for me to hit the dunes for the first time, then I'll do er' up. So if everything goes good then I should be on the sand for the first time in my life. Hopefully I'll see some of you around. I'm thinking of making another flag that goes under my orange flag that will say "Dinner" on it (if I'm allowed to do that) Quote

Dave will probably send Gates hose w/the spark arrestors so you can clamp them right on your silencers w/o having to drill or any of that fun stuff. I will be there for Friday only, once again, If I can get help w/a voucher. I will trade a case of beer of anyones choice to help me out. Can't be there till Friday morning. You will fall in love w/the sand by the way! Quote

When you asked about them in PM, I had an extra set I got for free...but they were bolt in for a set of CPI silencers, end cap replacements. You can use my clamp ons... I'll need them for the bash the weekend before, I'll get them in the mail to you that Monday.... Unless one of our members is gonna be at the bash and for the 4th, I'll just them to them then. Quote
