bansheejoel Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 i thought i was going crazy b/c one ride when i stopped my chain would be loose so i would re-adjust it then i would go out for another ride and it would be really tight. So i jacked up the back and spun the rear tires and the chain would be loose, then i would spin the tires 1/2 turn then the chain would be tight. I dont think my axle is bent but when i spin the rear tires the sprocket carrier moves up and down. What could it be? thanks Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 stock style swinger or round house? Quote
bansheejoel Posted April 29, 2008 Author Report Posted April 29, 2008 stock swinger, stock carrier Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 The bolts that move the carrier forward and back may be lose, there are like 3 sets of bolts on the stock style swinger just make sure there all tight. Quote
bansheejoel Posted April 29, 2008 Author Report Posted April 29, 2008 there all tight, its like the sprocket carrier moves up and down like the sprocket holes are drilled wrong or something but its a new sprocket.....all the holes lined up perfect. Quote
LS1Inferno Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 could be a bent sprocket hub does teh tire move up and down too? Quote
bansheejoel Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 i dont think so... its just like the sprocket is moving up and down Quote
H2OLDS Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 maybe the sprocket was misbuilt and is out of round Quote
