Gurnzz Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 I live on the Cape and legal ridding here is nonexistent.There are some state parks in the western part of the state that offer legal ridding.From what i understand there is a guy in Plympton,is very close to opening a atv park in that town.I've been ridding legally at the (closed) Ottis Air force Base. It's not open to the public or the environmental police either. :biggrin: You must have military ID,or be a guest of someone working on the base to get by the armed guards with M16's at the gates. hey if ur up for a lil day trip pittsfield state forest has some pretty good riding in pittsfield ma also there is october mountain state forest in lee ma but pittsfield is way better, much less huge rocks. unfortuanetly i dont think pittsfield opens till the middle of may. ur quad has to be registered and they say u should have sparkies but they havent checked for those on my friends quads or mine yet. that would prolly be a very long drive for you tho being that its the farthest u can go west on the mass pike ! Yea its a decent sized place and its cool to ride there, but the terrain sux balls. its all whoops and big rocks everywhere.. so I don't know... maybe the other place I usually go would be ok.. I'm thinking down wareham or cape area would be nice..I can try to get my brother to get a hold of his buddy to ride at otis... but no promises.. i think i would need some kind of a head count but let me findout if its even possible still..
