This kinda goes along with my post in the repair forum. however what would cause my banshee to smoke im not talking just a little amount. like if i rip it down the road the whole road fills with smoke

I knew of a guy who ran 50:1 ratio gas/oil, and it smoked like a mother. 40:1 will smoke a helluva lot more than 32:1. Plus, if it is still cold, it smokes a lot more...just things to keep in mind before deciding that it's a bad crank seal. That would suck.

50-1 is less oil then 32-1 so it would smoke more with 32-1 than 50-1

Yeah I don't know what was going on there. That thing was smoking horribly and he said it was because he was running 50:1. I just accepted it without thinking about it. Unfortunately, his stupidity increased mine. I haven't asked him whatever happened to that quad as I haven't seen him for about a month.

Anyways, disregard my posts in this thread because I don't know what I'm talking about.

Who hasn't ever made a mistake? None of us, no problem here.

Get something like a ratio-rite mix cup and see by the marks on it how much pre-mix to fuel you want to mix.
