smokin 2 stroke Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dual-Exhaus...sspagenameZWDVW think it could be done..if so any kits out their i can use that has a blue flame lol Quote
BigRed350x Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 The flame color is determined by the type of fuel used and the temperature it burns at. I would not put anything like that in a banshee. Basically what those systems do is drop spark to 1 or 2 cylinders (on a car engine) so its just pulling in raw fuel and spitting it out the exhaust. Then it sends a spark to a plug which is mounted in the exhaust pipe that ignites the air/fuel mixture comming from the cylinders that dropped spark. Presto! Flamage out your exhaust. An easier way would be to run alcohol/methanol and run it rich to the point its spitting raw fuel out the exhaust and find a way to mount a seperate coil out back, and send spark to your exhaust pipes. I wouldn't recommend this though. There's no telling what it would do to the pressure wave thats going back to your cylinders and what it could fuck up. Quote
smokin 2 stroke Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 aww man only one way to find out...if i go boom boom got a excuse to go bigger Quote
okbeast Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 no way it'll ever work with the way a 2-stroke works IMO Quote

NYUK Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 i already have one installed.i keep the ignitor right next to my oil slick tank. and that sits on top of the box that actuates the spikes that come out of my axle.just like in the drag racing scene in grease. GREASED LIGHNIN! Quote
IrideA250R Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 I nominate this for dumbest post I've ever read. Quote

jbooker82 Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Here is why it wont work. Burning fuel in an enclosed container causes pressure right? Same pressure that forces the piston down. On a 2 stroke when the piston is at bottom dead center all the ports are opean correct. Your reeds are going to take the brunt force of that pressure. Probably endup cracking the reed and blowing it back in to the carbs. It doenst take to many back fires to eject your reeds back in to the carbs. Quote
