Use a thin layer of grease on the orings so they stick and don't fall out/kink when installing it.

Take your time....save your stock head for the torque tightening pattern, reference that.

 

I go 10 Ft. lbs all the way around, then 15, 20...then 22. Nice even torque.

Ok I am finished with putting everything on. So is there anything else I have to do before I try and start it up

well i just put my noss head on wednesday and just double check evrything and check for leaks after you start it, and retorque the nuts after you ran it for a short period

 

 

Well tried for ten mins to start and it did not start. I was pissed so I will try again tomorrow morn and re check everything then if that does not work look to you guys for some help

you can use grease or antiseize. i like the antiseize because it seems to stay there longer. but grease works too. either way when you eventually need to disassemble the cool head to work on the motor having grease or antiseize keeps the parts from sticking together so they come apart easy. dont forget to grease or antiseize the sparkplug threads too.

Thanks I got it started but the thing revs up like it is going full throttel. How do i calm it down. Sorry if the question is dumb but this is my first time doing everything myself

Check if the throttle cables are in a bind from working around them.

You know now that I think about it did feel a bit different with the throttle cable did feel a bit harder, I will take the gas take off and check it out thanks for the heads up

Ok guys I need some help it starts fine and Idles fine but when I push the gas nothing happens for a bit then it revs up really high throttle response is not good and it just revs high. I need some help does anyone one know what I need to do?????

I know some people say air leak but from where, Any help would be awsome, I want to get this bike running so I can see what all my money has gotten me.
