Is anyone here running an ebc clutch? I know I should just go right for the F.A.S.T clutch but I found a good deal on a new ebc pack. Its for my play banshee anyways. Thanks in advance guys

i know their pretty good for dirt bikes, so i would think the same for a banshee. i would just buy it if you can get a good deal on it.

i never heard any bads about the ebc clutches, if they're cheap enough gettem,, i just got the Tusk's clutches not too long ago from rocky mountain and they're great so far no problems, and they were only $44.99 with heavy duty springs, just a thought

i bought the EBC kevlar clutch when i got my bike when i was 16. It was 143 dollars and i didn't know any better then. But now im 21 and its still in my trex bike, ive only had my lockout for this past season.

Damn, my play banshee has a nice aggressive dune port with boost ports,inframes,35s,coolhead etc so if you can run it with your dragger for that long im sure mine will be fine

EBC is a good clutch ,im going to be offering a drag clutch soon myself, ive measured and tested most all the clutch packs sold for the banshee, it wont use the skimpy fzr fibers or plates like most builders use ,in fact it will barely fit into the clutch basket and will have lots of area for optimum performance with very stiff springs for the resistance ,currently testing o n a ported 90 horse 421 cub as we speak .

Well I went out and bought a fast clutch for my 421 cub because everybody says that they will hold up. Yah it's fast allright...it wore fast thats for sure, got about 4 rides on it and it's slipping, complete waiste of $. So i think i am going to try an ebc myself and see how that holds up.

I have never had one burn up that fast and i think there are several people on here running the same motor or more power that will attest to the holding power/reliability of our clutch. Hell, we've even had them in 150hp Rotax motors. Sorry you had trouble but if our clutch went bad that quick you may want to check other components!!!

Nope everything is new, bike is an 06 with minimul hrs on it, brand new pressure plate, brand new clutch boss, stock basket but no wear at all. I cannot complain about yur service, u shipped it quikly and i got what i paid for, i just dont think the clutch holds up, it's slipping now with only 4 rides on it, and it's not like a drag all day and beat the hell out of it, i dune alot and ride normal most of the time.

has anyone tried to run the fibers from an r1 streetbike. ive herd that holds up real well but never have tried it my self. a guy i work with runs it on his hoped drag bike and has no complants. that might be something for you to check into.

Sorry, but you have done something wrong. We run the clutch from Jeff @ FAST on our 443 cub on 1/4 mile asphalt. We slip the shit out of it on the start and have about 50 runs on our current clutch. If you have it set-up right with the proper maintenance it will not give you problems. Bryan
