Wrong oil?

So I went to yamaha today to get the usual mix oil and case oil. I did not look at the bottle just went with what he threw up, I get to the house and it Yamalube 10w 30 4 Stroke. will that matter?

you cant mix it with your gas if thats what your asking but you can use it as trans oil

you can put that in the clutch case, but dont put it in the gas!

Its not my premix, it is the gear oil. I figured it was all good just didnt know if they were formulated differently. Just saw 4choker and like to choked my self!

I use 15W-40 in my case so im sure it will be fine to run that 4 stroke stuff

I just hope that wimpy lil 4 stroke oil can hold up to my Big Bad Banshee!

i just switched to type f automatic transmission fluid...working fine so far.

I run Bel-Ray gear saver for tranny fluid it works good, you dont have to change it as often as you would with yamaha 4-stroke oil in there, that an gear saver is made for 2-strokes an it says that on the bottle, its supposed to stand up to all of the clutching and shifting needed when riding a 2-stroke.

i use the bel-ray gear saver to it works great
