Bansh-eman
are you talking about the nut on the bottom of the stem or the one thats inside the frame?

I had a problem removing mine to and I went to the hardware store and bought a huge nut that dropped in the hole that I could put a socket on top of it as well to get it out. The nut i bought was 28.5mm by 16.5mm but I would encourage a 30mm nut. This one was a little to small. If I can next time I want one about an inch tall so i can get a better grip on it with my socket. Good luck

jbooker82
Heat it up with a toarch. Then take a birthday cake candle and run around the out side. That way the wax melts and gets drawn in to the threads.

Heat + Impact gun. I have come across a few frames that seem to have had some sort of turbo loctite on the threads in there. Heat was the only thing that got the nuts moving. Snopczynski
let it soak in penetrating oil overnight, then heat it, try to tighten it a little bit, then try to loosen it.
sheerider1026
nothing. soaked for a day, heated red. use impact and strongarm.. its fukd. i need a better frame anyway. not gonna sweat it.. gonna get my dremel out and grind it out.. if i screw up the frame to hell with it.. lol
theshee
I made a tool to get it loose. I got a big nut that fit it, welded it to a 1" piece of pipe, then put it in there, grabbed the pipe with a pipe wrench and it came loose no problem. I was in the same boat as you, it wouldnt budge any other way.
