What are you guys doing? I'm thinking of putting 450 arms and shocks on my frontend or wicked long travel arms. But really have no idea what options I have for the rearend, I'm on a budget so a little help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. If so how much? next question is would the dual rate coil set up from tcs be worth it? It seems that rear suspension does not have enough travel to really maximize the dual rate coil. Michael Jackson Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 yea it will make your front end sit very low, look at the red and white one in the picture above you, it sits very low in the front and the whole idea of duel rate spring is that it starts off with its softest spring rate and they get firmer as you go down, so even with dual rate, it would still be better than single rate of course, the beginning of the stroke would be soft for little bumps and rocks or whatever but then it gets stiffer the farther you cmpress it startss compressing the other springs, it really is nice to have more than a single rate spring Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would just go with a +4 swingarm if you cant afford lonestar threre are some other way good ones out there without as big of a price tag as far as the rear shoch you can just leave the stock one on they can be calibrated to be as good as allot of the aftermarket shocks out there as far as the front ones i would go with elka shocks and a +2+1 a-arms from lonestar they look way good. I have my truck sitting on king racing shocks (best shock in the desert-race proven) all the way around and the dam elkas cost more than my king coil overs? What the hell?
