too_fazt Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 im swaping the engine out of my shee and iv been messing around with ideas of diff motors. how do you guys think the big V-twin will fit into it. obviously mocking the frame is a must, but do you think it would be more or less doable then the common 4-cyl. thanks Quote
smokin 2 stroke Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 sounds like a fun as project, something i would like to do but anything possible u have the know how Quote

too_fazt Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 I think a V twin is taller, so harder to fit...maybe. wouldnt the narrow width help with instalation and placement where the wide 4 would be a pain in the @$$?? just a thought Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 banshee frames suck for modding with other motors. youre better off finding a tall 4 stroke frame such as a yfz450 or craptor.. Quote

flattrakker Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 id say find a 4 banger. i dont think a v is possible without heavy modification. Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 It all depends on how creative you wanna get with it, such as how much modding are you willing to do to the frame. I would think it's possible but maybe not without adding some height to the frame or stretching it upwards. Definately sounds interesting. Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 youre gonna end up cutting the frame in half with either motor.. Quote
