Pay the 32 bucks and get a completely new one from cascade. Because if you do it yourself it wont be as smooth. And also they set it up so its easier to find neutral.

I did mine with a carbide cutter on a dremel and made sure I took off about the same amount on each ear. I didn't touch the nuetral detent, and I don't have a problem finding nuetral. :thumbsup:

Just check out some pics of them modified and copy them. If you do end up screwing it up...you can always buy a new, modified one!

if you know somebody that has a lathe and a shifter drum laying around you can just bolt you star on the drum and clamp the drum in the lathe and turn it down,but you have to use a bit that will cut hardened metal like carbide or diamond.Jeff from F.A.S.T sells them already done. probly would just be as easy to get one already done.
