marvins are the only way to go. and are adjustable.

I run Fox floaters in front.. To adjust them. Just use a air pump. My weigh just under 2lbs.. Yes pricey.. But no to carry around a nitrogen tank. Plus nitrogen is not cheap.

I guess I didn't read that about shaws being to expensive.... You can pick up a used set for 150-200 if you look around option two and its not even half as goo is to buy some blaster shocks

A lot of people on a budget use 300ex shocks. They are a good length and work well if you're only dragging. I've been told they bolt right up. :thumbsup:

the puertos just cut a length of chain, squat the bike down in front and bolt the chain to the upper and lower shock bolts, viola drag shocks.

why not just use struts?...unless you are racing on a really rough surface...they work well and are very comparatively economical....dbr

Once you run with marvins on the front you'll never want to run strutted up front again...trust me, I know.

 

Rigid frames are technically the best thing for racing a groomed track, but if you're running a stock framed bike I highly recommend strut in the rear, shocks up front

You can get all three Marvins for $500 new. That's what I paid!
