9603banshee Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 (edited) put your clip in the middle position and try that first....you're pilot should be anywhere from a 27.5 to a 30...put your air mixture screw at approx. 1 and a half turn out as well.....hope this helps Edited August 1, 2007 by 9603banshee Quote
Michael Jackson Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 (edited) why chnage the pilots on a stock motor? and ditch the boost bottle if you still have your old balance pipe, they dont help performance at al, ive actually heard from someone they saw with their own eyes, a 1.5hp increase by puttin the stock balance pipe back on Edited August 2, 2007 by Michael Jackson Quote
dajogejr Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 saw with their own eyes, a 1.5hp increase by puttin the stock balance pipe back on Horseshit. I'm not saying boost bottles work, they don't. But a stock crossover isn't going to give you another pony and a half. BS. With pods and T6 pipes, 25 or 27.5 pilots will be fine. 30 are too big. Quote

dajogejr Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 If they did anything every top builder in the country would run them. They don't...tested on a dyno, and they've never proven anything on the track. If anything, the weight will make your intake boots crack earlier...that's it. Quote
MDS2106 Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Most of the guys we race with, including myself don't run a cross over tube at all. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 27.5 pilots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and boost bottles are junk!! Quote
