I run an 18 fin inline cooler on my shee in the return line with a Pro Design high flow water impeller and a coolhead and went from 160-180 down to 120-140 for my running temp. I would say that the inline cooler works some because of the fins, But I wouldn't rely on it soley as a cooler. I installed the inline cooler last after the other mods. Hope that helps you.

A 40 degree temp drop with a little piece of aluminum that the water only spends a fraction of a second going through in a hose............ Did you add all the rest of the cooling parts at the same time, cuz that does not sound right...............

They work great for cutting out a bad spot in the hose and splice it back together. They dont help with cooling. The fins are to thick to disapate any real amount of heat. Sure they shed some heat but not a huge amount.

Word.

There is also not enough surface area contacting the coolant or the air with those coolers to do a damn thing. :geek:
