That...seriously, is one beautiful work of art. I guess if you had a dune bike for playing around that had to have it all, this would finish it off nicely. Weight savings alone would be worth it...let alone the strength factor too... WOW>...

Wallrat
Man that had to be a pain in the ass to make! Titanium is expensive and can only be welded in a completely inert atmosphere. Probably welded it in a box filled with argon. F'n cool!

Flash and Flare
Titanium is my personal friend, have lots of it on my sled. Now just shrink that swinger down 6 inches and I would be all over that. Oh well.........just not my size. If you build it they will come ! FireHead
That a Rax unit? Are the RAX arms the ones that were breaking awhile back and couple people got pretty seriously injurred? :ermm:
.
someone on here does a lot of titanium welding. I'd like to see closeups of all the welds. dont know if it was the rax units or not but they were having problems with the welds having blueing I believe which meant that their was contamination to the titanium weld, and that was what was failing on those units that people got hurt. Also I was hearing is that the units were flexing but with titanium it makes it stronger. But much like heat treating glass....the more you heat it, the stronger it gets, until you heat it to much, and it will break.
