FireHead Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 fuk that make your self some billet cases!!! If I am imagining what is in his facility correctly, he may not have the capability to do that type of thing. A rear subframe, or a-arms would be cool, but so is the swingarm idea. :geek: Maybe even foot pegs. Billet cases are not any easy deal by the way. .....................I suppose I should also read the entire thread before posting. :ermm: Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 This may not be as inventive or challenging as many suggestions but I'd like to see a new line of grills for the Banshee. So many out there but hardly any that I like.. Geez Firehead.. got enough roosts there?? Quote

Bigairee and I sort of got a little competitive in the casino awhile back. I believe he still has more than I do. Quote
dajogejr Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 Billet gas tank, 1.0 gallon for the drag racers baby.... Quote
yfzdunejumper Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 A swing arm is cool and might impress the boss but it shouldn't take more than a day or two to do it. I have been looking for a reservoir for the master cylinder that will bolt right up to it. Just take that little screw out of the plastic thing that the hose goes on and slide the res in there. I would buy one if you figure it out. There is always a chromolly frame but that might take more than a week. Like matoons but without the leaking... Quote

BansheeKid15 Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 A custom set of nerf bars would be sick also, thats another thing that is 200+ that takes minimal material to make. You could do a nerf bar that bolts onto the stock peg, or new pegs. It could have heel guards attached to the nerfs as well. Another idea is making a billit bumper, havent seen too many trick bumpers out there, thats why i dont have one on the front of my shee right now. Quote

So many out there but hardly any that I like..Geez Firehead.. got enough roosts there?? HOLY shitballs i knew i was forgetting something. I am going to make a sick grill!!!! and a swingarm i think!. Im guna give it some time, but this facility is sick, and i think they could start a line of atv products. If they had a customer of course, we are a LEAN manufacturing facility to say the least, so no inventory here! I wont be doing anything billet. I do have access to 1/2" aluminum sheet stock tho. Footpegs are another very simple, yet cool thing to make. A gastank is also an idea, holy shit you can make a whole banshee out of sheet metal and tubing hahahah Quote
RoostRocket Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 i would be very interested in a removable subframe or footpegs if you come up with some cool stuf... whatever you do just have fun with it man. Quote

I am gathering that you don't have access to a CNC mill though. If so I will do the design and the programming / fixtures if necessary tonight. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I'll also agree that the banshee needs another simple thing like aftermarket heelguards. IMS used to make nice ones but no more & no one else makes them! Quote
