Well, after riding the Warrior for years I finally got a banshee, I love it, went tot he trails the other day, and going to the dunes next weekend. Man these things are fast, ive always seen them and rode a couple here and there, but once you got one, its got you.

Im going to try and leave it stock for a while (try). Its a brand new 06 special editions yellow. I figured that since they are not making them anymore, nows my only chance to get a new one, So i did.

Now for the questioin: where should i start looking for some accessories? i dont want any performance mods for now, its fast enough for now (compared to what ive been riding). Im looking for the head light covers, shock covers, handle bar covers, etc etc...

Thanx for any suggestions, and im sure ill be asking lots more. From what ive been reading for the last week or so, you all seem to have lots of great info and tips. Anything anyone thinks i need to know, id love to hear it.

Thanx,

Chad

Fot those kind of accessories I would go ebay. Its cheap and you can find anything you want... When you are ready to grin ear to ear, throw some pipes on that sucker!

Congrats man, you wont be able to keep it stock for long! Just a fact of a Banshee owners life. Cascade Innovations is the place to get your bike looking pretty, although there are many places to get stuff! Im sure you already know, get some pipes and a K&N, and let the fun begin!

It'll stay stock till he rides or hears another bike with Toomeys, CPI's, FMF's etc. It wont take long. I said the same EXACT thing in 99 when I bought my first ever Banshee (still have it). Gonna keep it stock, its fast enough. Yeah right. I'm sitting on 3 Banshees now, 2 ported. It grabs you by the balls.

Congrats and welcome. You found the best site out there for everything Banshee related, and much, much more.

ya, im gonna try. i go to the dunes a lot and see and hear them alll the time, thats why i finally got myself one. And i love it already, im already thinking of things i want. First i gotta get some skid plates, and shock and head light covers. then... i guess its gonna depend on money, but im gonna TRY my hardest to keep it stock, atleast till next spring when i can get the sportsman for the mountains. then, the banshee is getting whatever it wants...

Thanks for the suggestions and welcomes. Sure ill be having lotsa questions for yal.

By the way, does anyone name their shee?

Thanks again guys.

I'd consider at least a clamp on filter mod. It's not necessarily a performance mod.

first get a jet kit the stock jetting is shit so jet it right if your plugs arnt brown

search break in and break it in right and keep the power and realiablity

skid plates are a good choice but dont get a DG baja it dont fit.

i do wanna get filters and pipes. But right now im super happy about how fast it is. I think ill try to wait a year before i get pipes and that. Cuz if it helps as much as ive heard, i get to be super happy again in a year. If i do it all now, i got nothing to look forward to, till i turn it into a full drag bike, which ill start doing once i get my spottsman.

Are the other dg skid plates good? or who makes the best skid plates? i want the best since itll be my sand and trail bike for about a year and a half to two years.

Thanks guys,
